Would Not RecommendI use these types of screws on a weekly basis primarily for fencing and deck construction and the only reason I used this product was that Lowe's was the closest. Although Grip Rite is a leader in the fastener industry the bit they provide and the head on the screw are difficult to use in a fast pace setting and are far less user friendly than the Deck Mates sold by your competitor.

Would Recommendfirst time usibg this product. found them to be very easy to use. the bit supplied was important because I did not have a star drive bit.
Star-Drive Not For Me
Would Not RecommendThe screws are fine.The Star Bit that came with the screws was the biggest problem. It was fine to start with, but the longer you used it the worst it got. After about 25 screws the bit was already worn. Go ahead and purchase you an extra star bit.

Would RecommendAlmost no pressure on the screw head is required to seat this screw with its Torx drive head. I'm sold! I threw away all my Phillips head and square drive screws and will use this screw exclusively. Thanks!
Does the job
Would RecommendWhen I put a screw into two planks of wood, I want them to stay put. These screws assure just that. The only way they are stripping out or coming loose is if you break the wood, the screw itself, or if you take the screw out - that's it.
