Great exterior screws.

Great screws that drive easily and without camming out like Phillips head screws.

An overall bad design, and won't last.

Most of these screws are used in treated lumber such as porches and decking. I just disassembled two decks that had "Grip Rite Primeguard" screws, and what I found was shocking - the screws had eaten away by the chemicals in the treated wood. In many of the screws, the head and half inch of shaft was all that remained and therefore the screw was not holding anything. Never stripped a head and never leaves black stains on wood.

Worked fantastic to install new outside fence...

Installed a full wooden fence across the front of our property...Made installation faster and sturdier than using nails, not to mention easier to remove if a mistake was made..

Star head screws

Hard to start, prefer square head. It did get the job done.Built a ramp for a friend because she was just out of the hospital and is wheel chair bound. The ramp is durable and will hold up well. Screwing the deck boards down made job easier, even though catching a bite was hard. Thanks Lowe's, you are my favorite!

Deck screws

I absolutely love these screws, I use them for all of my outdoor projects. I keep several sizes in stock, and also share with my neighbors. The star drive is absolutely wonderful, and makes driving the screws so easy. Great product, I highly recommend.

Best Construction Screw Period

These screws grip perfect either for decking or general construction. I use all the time for many of my projects. Plus with starhead bit no worries on stripping out the head. Great screw!

Used this product to secure spindles to a stair casing leading to an elevated deck. Nice product.

Screws work like they should

Not much to say about these. I used them to re-deck some 3/4 plywood subfloor in a home. Secured fine. The heads don't strip easy which is a plus. 5 stars because I dont have any complaints about them and they work as intended.
