Poor thread grip, driver bit comes out of star
Would Not RecommendDon't buy these green Grip-Rite screws. The thread is not as deep as the tan ones that I have from last year. You can see the difference when you compare the two (see photo). When you drive the green ones into pressure treated wood, as soon as the head makes contact with the wood the screw stops advancing. My old tan ones from last year keep driving into the wood so you can sink the head below the surface of the wood. Also, they do not make the star dive opening as good. I drive a tan one, and i...

Would Not RecommendTHey are hard to grt started most of the time. 90 percent of them will not pull into thenfloor joist. They bottom out and spin. The threads are not deep enough to grab good
