What Customers Are Saying
Customers praise these deck screws for strong holding power and clean aesthetics, with low-profile heads that sit flush and match composite materials like Trex. Many report excellent results using quality T20 bits and recommend pre-drilling for optimal performance. The star head design drives smoothly when paired with proper tools. However, some experience persistent countersinking difficulties, with heads remaining exposed or spinning without fully driving. A few note reverse threads can strip holes or damage composite if removed. Despite these drawbacks, most customers find them reliable for professional-looking deck installations.

buy slightly longer than you normally would
Would Recommendthe left hand threads at the top have a tendency to cause you to strip out a hole too easily, unless you buy them minimum 1/2" longer than an ordinary construction screw you would use for the same project. the threads also destroy composite if you ever try to back them back out once they've been counter sunk.. they look good though

Would Not RecommendOften, the screw didnt grip very well. When I tried to take it out, it would just spin.

bad screws
Would Not RecommendThe reverse thread creates more problems than help. These screws drive in and spin about half the time, every screw needs countersunk with a drill bit, waste of time. needs redesigned.

Doesn't sink well
Would Not RecommendThese screws are hard to get started and do not countersink well. When they stop biting into the wood, they will not go any further and are almost impossible to back out. The T-20 bit is not very hardened. I plan to return.

The bit fit and drove the screws as intended
Would RecommendGrab material great
These are terrible
These are the worst Trex screws I have ever used. You have to pilot hole them and 50% of them strip out before sinking far enough into the board for the head to be flush. I strongly recommend against using these as they will slow your project down immensely.
Deck screws
Would RecommendGood quality product
Look for a different brand!
Would Not RecommendThese screws are designed with threads that go in opposite directions to each other and cause numerous problems inserting and removing them. Why they designed them that way is beyond my comprehension!
