Exactly what I need
Would RecommendI'm about to soundproof the ceiling between the first and second floor, installing resilient channel to the underside of the floor joist, then 5/8" drywall. These screws (min. 1-1/4") were recommended to attach the resilient channel to the joist but I opted for this longer version so the weight of the drywall would be supported without issue. These screws are exactly what I need to get the job done.

Best drywall screw ever.
Would RecommendI loved the fact that they come in a wonderful plastic box (complete with handle !) The screws are threaded that makes then easier to go into wood. The Phillips no.2 is a joy to use. The screws are made pointy, another great feature. They include a bit that should be magnetic. You will need a driver to use these, installing by hand is a lot of work. They don't work well with wet-wall application.
