plain english, this double spool does not work !!

I paid a lot of money for the 60 volt weed trimmer only to find out the double replacement spool does not work, I purchased it last summer 2019 and have had nothing but problems with the weed trimmer. I can see why the replacement spool only got 3 stars. I would not even give it a one.

Not enough twine

The spool did not have enough twine on it. It ran out before our trim work was completed.

Difficult to load

I really like the battery operated Weed Wacker, but putting in new trim line is really difficult

Greenworks trimmer line

Easier than winding your own, unfortunately the bump wears out quickly on this item and neither the line nor bump were available in store.

Replacement spool

The replacement spool of Greenworks Pro 60 volt replacement line was just what I needed. It requires a simple take down and replacement of the spool and everything works as planned. I needed a battery weed trimmer and the Greenworks is great. It has plenty of power and last the charged battery will last through the entire job. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a good battery powered weed trimmer.

the product over all is great and easy to use , i just wish i knew Lowes does not stock the replacement spool, you have to order it on line and now no military discount with on line orders, one * for Lowes

Little line

The spools have the same amount of line as the spool that came with the trimmer not a lot about enough to trim a yard five to six times I expected more line

First, I love the Greenworks tools. I have the lawn mower, weedeater, blower and trimmer. As a smaller woman, I can handle all these tools with ease and take care of our lawn. I know buying these spools is more expensive than buying a roll of replacement wire and rolling it on yoursel, BUT I have a terrible time winding the spools , stopping what I'm doing and making them work with the weed eater. Greenworks Spool Refills

I like Green works products as they are good quality and a pretty decent price. Besides, the Kobalt refill is $25 plus for one and the Green works I can buy 3 to their one as they $9.

Replacement spool - works with Kobalt 40V trimmer

I was looking for a couple replacement spool for my Kobalt 40V trimmer so I could quickly change spools while doing yard work. I like to refill the spool on my own terms rather than in the middle of a sweaty yard work session. I could not locate a Kobalt branded spool that was available but did notice the cross compatibility of the Greenworks brand. These spools are exactly what I wanted.
