Ratings & Reviews for Graco TrueCoat 360 Variable Speed Electric Handheld Airless Paint Sprayer
Ratings may include incentivized customer reviews.
What Customers Are Saying
The product features variable speed control for precise spraying and generally delivers professional-looking results, especially for smaller projects. However, some users have experienced issues with clogging, sputtering, or the sprayer failing to work, particularly with thicker paints. The small paint reservoir also requires frequent refilling. While the majority of reviews are positive, there are concerns about the product's durability and reliability, with some reporting short lifespans.

Sprayer
After my initial use, I found the product easy to use. In the beginning, however, the entire process of setting up the sprayer with the stain followed by the clean-up was a little cumbersome. Nevertheless, I soon figured it out and it works great!

Sprays paint very well paint capacity is low and cleanup isn’t fun but overall performance is very good

Buyer beware
Would Not RecommendNot good where a quality finish is desired, doors, cabs, etc. would be good for a fence or patio furniture or something. It pulsates too much and the finish isn’t even and smooth.

Pain to clean up oil-based stain
Would Not RecommendI purchased this for paint and stain. Application was ok but cleanup after using an oil-based stain was a nightmare. The instructions said to use soap and water. Duh! I knew better. The amount of small crevices on the body of the gun and small parts made this cleanup a nightmare. The stain could not be completely removed from strainer used to fill the gun. The stem cannot be removed from the strainer so I’ll need to buy a new part or risk flecks of brown stain making it into future paint project...

85 year old shingle siding made great.
Would RecommendWe bought this to help my son and daughter inlaw to paint their 85 year old home exterior. I used it first to test the setup and was pleased with the results. We left it with them to continued the painting. We were tickeled to hear our daughter inlaw described how amazing it was to use! She could not stop smiling especially after several days of painting by brush. Nice to bring joy into others lives! Productive and quality results from novice users.

I bought even though I am DIY person because of reviews and the name. I have only used it once since I bought it, but I can say I was happy with the results.

East to use. Clean up is horrible.
Not bad. Clean up sucks. Very messy to work with. Lots of wasted paint.

A little dissapointed
I have owned and used Graco sprayers in a painting and contracting business. I know their products to work well and last. While I have a new large airless sprayer, I bought this unit to spray smaller areas. There are a few necessary tasks that must be performed prior to spraying but once you've done it a couple of times it is second nature. I sprayed one door, and it applied the paint evenly and the finish was factory beautiful. Sadly though, that was the good news. The bad news is a few mi...

Works good
I just recently purchased this and I have only used it once to paint a cabinet that I built. It did a good job. It’s a lot easier and quicker than using my big airless sprayer

It works ok and can be a bit finicky. Cleaning and ensuring it remains unclogged is a chore.

Professional Results
Would RecommendThis is a great product. I used it to paint my kitchen cabinets and the results are near perfect. Having the right paint helps but application is just as important. Only downside side is like all airless sprayers it goes though a lot of paint so have a lot on hand.

Great device
Would RecommendStill getting to know this product. I used it once to paint my Adirondack chairs. It was easier, and took less time but I did use more paint than expected but it could’ve been new user technique. A better review could be in the future after more uses of the device.

Pulses out paint and has awful finish
Would Not Recommendright out of the box it was pulsing paint in rhythm with the motor, not a continuous spray. This is my first time using an HVLP sprayer so I didn't know any better. however after some research it's not supposed to do that. also the paint comes out in a splattered mess, not as a paint mist. awful.

The good n such
I wanted something without a long cord I could paint with and didn't have a lot of overspray. First time using it I figured out using shields on my corners I could even spray in my cuts. Pretty awesome tool. Pretty reliable also. Not a lot of places for failure or huge core to be tripping over except for the power cord I guess. Variable speed and the fine tip option was awesome for the more sensitive areas I didn't want to overspray. Take some getting used to to get the pattern even. Tool is hea...

Spraying hack
I work in a rental facility that use to carry these, great little machines for personal ownership, poor things were not meant for the rental way of life. One thing that always failed (mainly due because it was a rental unit and was never handled with care) was the prime cap valve on the top. You open it up and squeeze the bladder (from the bottom. Squeeze it from the mid to top area, you can accidentally disturb the seal from the screw on area) squeezing until the paint comes out the prime, and ...

Inexpensive, Quick and Easy
Would RecommendThe Graco 360 Variable Speed corded sprayer was about the only one within my price range. I watched many videos of DIY'ers and even professionals using it to paint a variety of things, including garage doors, which is what I needed it for. I couldn't be happier with the job it did. It was Inexpensive, Quick and Easy to use and not very difficult to clean.
