After using this to spray ceilings for 3 homes I feel able to express my thoughts on my x19 sprayer. The sprayer is fantastic. The tips rust. It's utter bu115hit in this day and age you make a garbage tip that rusts while trying to clean paint off it. Plenty of metal out there that doesn't rust. Get with everyone else's needs.

Thoughts

The product is great and really well thought out. But I first used it with a product to spray on wood and it kept clogging the filters because there were parts of the liquid that had congealed at the bottom of the 5 gallon container. What a hassle to have to stop and clean the filters every 20 minutes. On the other hand, spraying a different protectant went really smoothly. Greco could do a better job of giving you a heads up about that kind of an issue so you’re aware to pre filter the stuf...

Excellent sprayer, it’s consistent in keeping up with the demand on your out put and easy to set up and clean.

VERY EFFICIENT

I’ve only used this sprayer so far with water based exterior house paint, but it is VERY efficient and effective. Took only a few minutes practice spraying to get the hang of it using very thick Sherwin-Williams paint, and was able to completely paint our small MIL house in under an hour. Only “ding” I’d give it is in the somewhat confusing priming and clean-up process. But overall I’m very happy I bought this particular model.

Perfect for DIY

Bought this unit to do our new home. The sprayer is easy to use, gives a professional appearance and is easily adjusted. Be sure to permit about 30-45 minutes for cleaning and don't forget the filter in the gun! Doing it ourselves saved us thousands of dollars.

We bought this sprayer about a month ago. We have run about 35g of paint through it with no problems.

Good so far!

One issue: gun does not swivel if there is any pressure in hose at or above Start setting. If there is an adjustment/fix that can be made to the gun let me know. Would like to have an alternate screen for the uptake tube that has a lower profile so more paint can be assessed before the pump looses prime.

Great product. Easy to use and completely reliable.

Price is worth it

Used a few times for duplexes works very well. However the hose is a hassle to put away as with all paint sprayers.

I bought this sprayer for repainting my house and shop. I am spraying Sherwin-Williams Extreme Bond primer and SW Duration paint. The Duration is a heavy bodied paint, but ProX19 handles it with no problem. I am using a .019 tip for the Duration. Yesterday I was halfway through when I lost prime. Called Graco and they got me going again.
