I've been using Hue bulbs since probably 2016? This year I started upgrading my other lights to Govee and grabbed one of these to make it easier to control all my bedroom lights. I think my Hue might have been a little bit brighter, but for a bedroom lamp that doesn't really matter. The different modes on this bulb are so much fun. Lights do not respond correctly to GOVEE app automation
Love the lights and the GOVEE app. However, so far the smart bulbs have not responded correctly to the automation I set up using the GOVEE app. I've set the automation so the bulbs are supposed to change from “Christmas"theme over to to solid white at 1am each day and, so far, each early morning they do not switch but instead just turn completely off. So, I love the idea of being able to control them from the GOVEE app - but it doesn't seem to work.

Love them. Easy to install and set up. I have 2 pendant lights over my kitchen island. Alexa recognized them right away, grouped them together as one. And just tell Alexa to turn on/off/dim/change color of island lights and she does. Love this Govee stuff !!!

Great Set of Light
Would RecommendI got these to use in some track lighting. The connected very easily, grouped together using the app, Set the color I wanted and put them on a schedule. Easy peasy.

Mic / music sync mode doesn't work without keeping the app on your phone open
The upcharge for music mode is pointless because you can only flash one bulb to the music at a time and you have to keep the app open on that page to have it work. Don't buy these for music mode, just get the normal RGBW ones.

BEST LIGHT BULBS EVER
So I got the 6 pack for my house; 2 for the bathroom, 2 for the kitchen, and 2 for the bedroom. They light up really well! Better than ordinary light bulbs. My grandpa helped install 2 of them, and he accidentally dropped one, but they didn’t crack! They work perfectly! Connectivity via the app was easy and straight to the point!

The lights overall are great. What would make them amazing is in the Smarts tab of the app, you can select the same color for multiple lights, but not the same scene. If I want the gradient scene, I have to go in and select it for each one, well now they are all cycling at different intervals. Make scenes available in the smarts section of the app, then it would be amazing!

lightbulbs work great just like most of the reviews you've seen if you search for reviews. I got them for my room, but turns out i got led pot lights, so yeah I used them for my bathroom, but I wanted them for my room. Just check to see if you got normal bulbs in your room first, besides my mistake they great
