Would RecommendI have two Nest thermostats and got this sensor because I have two rooms that are always too hot. I could not believe how easy it was to set up. I expected to have to dig around for a setting or something and all I really had to do manually was to pull the tab to activate the battery.

Hall Thermostat always hot
Would RecommendThe wiring for my main thermostat is in the main hall between the bedrooms. It is always the hottest place in the house. It made for a bad location for the thermostat. But with the Nest Eco and two Nest Temperature Sensors, I can keep the living room cool during the day and not freezing in the evening. Best thing Se second sensor is in the master bedroom. Keeps us comfortable all night.

Must have in home with a slider in the Master
Would RecommendMy home has a slider in the master which creates either a hot spot or cold spot in our house. At night this is especially frustrating. By having the Nest Sensor, I can sleep comfortably because our Nest thermostat will cool or heat our home based on that room and not based on our living room, where the temperature doesn’t fluctuate.

Would RecommendI got out of the chute in the wrong direction by removing the battery tabs before realizing that the tabs have the sensor specific QR code on them. Luckily, the QR was also on the inside of the battery cover. Short of that, they were a cinch to install and custom name. I do wish that this was all done in Home rather than linking to the Nest app. Minor hassle. Works great.

Sleek Temperature Control
Would RecommendI purchased the Nest Temperature sensor to add to my master bedroom to make it cooler in my room at night. The sensor works like a charm and is a small, sleek, addition to my room without being noticed. Would highly recommend!!

Great add-on to Nest Thermostat
Would RecommendDiscovered the sensor while browsing and was immediately interested. Purchased and have been extremely satisfied. My thermostat is downstairs which is about 4-5 degrees different in temperature. Placed the sensor in my upstairs bedroom which resolved the discomfort caused by that temperature difference. Set up & controlling is simple & accurate. And a great value.

Definite money saver
Would RecommendThe very first day my ac usage was 5 hrs. Down about 4 hrs. I created two zones by install a mini split downstairs and using my central air for upstairs by using the sensor. Upstairs cools quickly because my hvac is in the attic. Before using the sensor the system had to run much longer to cool downstairs. Problem solved.

Nest Sensor
Would RecommendA great add on tool to help adjust the temperature with the Nest thermostat. Helped to level out upstairs temps when Nest thermostat is on a lower level. Easy to set up and a wonderful add on. I only wish the programming was a bit more robust, but still a great purchase.

Great for bedroom at night
Would RecommendI'm actually using less energy since the sensor detects my cooler bedroom and doesn't try to cool down the hallway (to nighttime sleeping temperature) where the main thermostat it located. Super easy to set up, battery included. Just a little bigger than a golf ball.

Small and accurate
Would RecommendThis sensor is very convenient and does just what it’s supposed to. I enjoy that it is small and inconspicuous but the size doesn’t effect the productivity at all. If I had a bigger home, I would put one in every room.
