Best bang for the buck

The speaker is easy to setup. The microphones are excellent; it picks up voice from far away (even from the next room). The sound quality is good, though little bass given the size and type of speaker. Large outlet plug makes it difficult to use other devices in the outlet.

Bought 2 of these little gems...easy to set up and very easy to use...we are starting to connect the house...little by little. Great price on the item as well.

Not as sensitive to voices

I purchased this to replace my original mini in the livingroom which got moved in the master bedroom. Now when I ask for assistance, the original one that is now in the master bedroom answers me and the one closest to me does nothing. Have had to increase the sensitivity and the biggest upgrade was this one is more sensitive. They also say they have a proximity sensor that I have yet to see it work at all. For a Mini it does alot!

We are so happy to have purchased this and are having fun checking out all the things it can do for us. Just love, love, love this! Maybe one day, we will upgrade to the next level. But, for a mini, it plays music we like, sets alarms, turns TV, youtube, and other smart wifi electronics on. Love that it finds information for us. We are still exploring everything it can do. Genious!

Pleasantly surprised at quality and ease of use

Purchased two nest mini's paired up easily for stereo usage. Easy to set up and use. Going to buy a few more for use around the home. Speaker grouping for multi room music is a great option. Using as an outgoing speaker phone is a valuable feature in itself.

Mine turned into a brick after 1 month of use

When working, it was nice. Then became unresponsive after a month. Working with google help team for hours is a waste of time. Hard to get replacement under warranty. I wouldn't buy again.

I love our mini. I use it all the time. Setting coming timers, timers for the kids time out, to hear the weather or the news. Even tried it for coming a new recipe. Takes some time to get used to the lingo.
