Perfect for monitoring the home while you're out
Would RecommendThe high quality video paired with the Nest Aware subscription makes this an obvious choice for home security. We used the Nest Cam Indoor to monitor the house we were moving into while we weren't there, and it has just been perfect ever since. It's great knowing your family has arrived via notification, and we could even chat about where boxes needed to go as we were moving things in.Also, the base is magnetic! Very cool!

Would Not RecommendFairly easy to set up and use. Mounting options are really nice with the magnetic base. Price is high especially since it's pretty much useless without a Nest Aware subscription. Would only recommend if you are already fully in a Google environment.

Would Not RecommendHaving a 6 camera system along with full smart home set up, I have a little experience with several nest cameras, and went through quite a few others in the process of deciding. Simply put, for the price of these indoors. The quality should be better. The IR output is not enough for any decent night vision beyond 10-15’, and even in high bandwidth setting, for Max clarity, this camera struggles to put out a picture that would even be on par with 1990’s basic cable. Would RecommendThe phone app doesn't allow me to edit the clips. I also can't delete individual clips. I would have to log in to my account on a laptop to use those editing features. Other than that, it works great.

Would RecommendOnce you have the Nest application installed as I already did prior to getting my cameras, setup was very easy as it is with other nest products that I own. Video quality is very good. Installation is very easy, either mounted or standing on it's own. It looks a little awkward compared to my old cube shaped cameras. Voice over the cameras requires you to press on a mic icon and is not two way.
