GearWall 8ft Storage Rail

Thick and solid storage rail that mounts easily to studs or with drywall anchors. Had this at my old house in the garage, and just ordered more to install at the new house. Installs easily and relatively quickly. Measure, level and mark ahead, then it’s only a matter of driving the screws home. Wide variety of hooks and attachments. Pricey versus competition but I think this brand has the best finished look for large areas.

Unlimited Organization possibilities

We ordereded 3 boxes (totaling 6 1'x 8'boards). They installed easily enough and created a space to organize our sports wall for our 5 kids.

Ordered 4 of these in combo with some of the 4 footers to do an entire wall in the garage. Had to special order as Lowe's doesn't stock the longer pieces. Shipping ended up taking over a month to get the walls, and the boxes came in all damaged. Luckily only one piece of slat wall was broken, and I made it work.

Gladiator Gear Wall

The wall panels are excellent! I put them up in a living room for book shelving, they look nice and are sleek with the white steel shelving. Product is difficult to get, ordered some through Lowes, some direct from Gladiator, but the overall project has taken a couple of months.

Easy install

This was by far one of the easiest projects that I have done. Find the studs and screw it in. The panels are easy to cut if need be.

Issues

The system is top notch if the manufacturing was up to par!

Absolutely Perfect

I started with a multi-pack and soon realized that I needed more - a whole wall full. So, I dashed out and purchased more - much more. Not quite a whole wall yet but I am getting there. Absolutely perfect for clearing out my whole garage. Can't stand the wait for more pieces to come in.

There are a variety of wall hanging systems. WARNING: You cannot assume BTW that accessories are interchangeable among wall systems. The slat wall you see in stores is heavy and has narrow channels, Unless you live in a big city, it is hard to buy 1 or 2 4x8 panels. These 1 foot wide 8 feet long tongue & groove panels are light, easy to use, and easy to install. The accessories attach easily. Plan on 28 screws per 1x8 panel.
