Hope this one lasts

This is a replacement for the one I purchased last year, I hope Gilmour has improved the quality of this model over last years model, it only lasted one season. I guess time will tell.

Built Like a Brick House

I bought this because I have a bad habit of breaking these nozzles by allowing them to "slap" against the ground while washing the car. This one is built very heavy but also very compact. I like it so far.

But the gasket...

I love the nozzle, but I had to go back to the store to get a gasket, as the one in the nozzle fell out without my noticing it. Is it going to fall out any time I remove the nozzle, unless that's all I'm thinking about?! I've just begun using it, so I can't say much else about it.

May be worth the money over cheaper products.

I have been tired of plastic sprayers breaking a leaking. I recently bought this and so far no leaks and it works great. Slightly higher costs but at the rate of the plastic sprayers breaking on me all year should be well work the extra coin.

Great Product

Gilmore manufactures a broad range of products from economy level to top level. My experiernce has been that as long as I purchase their best products, I get a quality product with a long life. I really love this nozzle and now have four of them.

Don't waste your money

I purchased this one because it appeared to be the best among the choices available at Lowes. I was wrong. It leaked half the water out of the entire face and only half came out of the selected stream. Tightening the screw did not change anything. I will be returning it and will never purchase one like it again.

Great value for the money

I have purchased a number of these type of nozzles and this is by far the best. It is a heavy nozzle but functions fantastic.

Good springkler

This seems to be just what I was looking for. The handle broke on my other one so I was sure to look for a metal handle. This nozzle has that plus lots of different sprays I can use.

Appears to be rugged

While I cannot ensure this is a quality product, it does appear to be well built. The only caution is that the grip is suitable for a large hand. I suspect it will prove to be too large for a small hand to hold comfortably.

Gilmore provides a lifetime guarantee with this product. It is easy to hold, you can lock the handle into place for long-term watering; automatic shut-off when you release the handle. Lots of choices in spray patterns. Handle is well-made so it should not break like my last purchase did, making the sprayer useless.

it gets cloged with anything it's toast

I bought this nozzle roughly 3 months ago. At first it was great worked better than most I've tried. I only used it to water small areas of my lawn and to wash my truck. Today I, as I always do started to water my lawn and noticed the garden spray setting wasn't coming out right (clogged) no biggie I'm a handyman by trade so I took off the front head and washed it out made sure all the gunk was gone, put it back on and it worked again. Not 2 sec later I release the lever and it wont shut off !! ...

Best yet

I've been through many nozzles, most with really unique designs, but were cheaply made with low grade materials. This one didn't cost much more, weighs and feels heavier duty, and great feel. Will change how I buy things in home hardware.

Looked good in the store

It looked good in the store, but when I hooked it up to the hose it leaked at the coupling. It looks to me like the "O" ring is not a good design choice as even though it's tightened properly, the thing leaks and just cannot be used. I'll need to return it.

great for washing cars and watering plants

I have used nozzles similar to this and they worked well for a while but eventually started leaking. This model feels like it is well-constructed and has a sufficient number of settings for both car washing and gardening.
