What Customers Are Saying
The reviews present a mixed sentiment about the work boots. Many customers found the boots to be comfortable and lightweight, with no break-in period required. However, a significant number reported major quality issues, such as the soles splitting or cracking, the boots leaking water, and the insoles falling apart after just a few months of use. While the boots may be suitable for light indoor work, they seem to lack the durability and water resistance needed for more demanding outdoor jobs and environments.

Georgia Boot 8 inch Light
Would RecommendI really think it's excellent so far. I've only had them for 3 months. They are very nice looking, very comfortable, all that is said about them is true.

Can't be repaired
Would Not RecommendI purchased two pairs of these about ten years ago - I wore them when riding my Harley Davidson motorcycle and all of a sudden the leather began to separate from the sole. I took them in to be repaired and was told they are not fixable, both pairs did this. I was disappointed in that fact so I am now shopping for a better long-lasting boot.

Do not buy this boot
Would Not RecommendInsoles are a joke. Emblem on soles Fell out let’s water in now. I have had other Georgia boots which have been great. These however are a huge disappointment.

Gold standard work boots.
Would RecommendAs A Project Superintendent I walk 8-14 acre jobs sites with varying surface conditions. These are really lightweight but extremely durable and protective. Having Type 2 diabetes means I take extremely good care of my feet and I have done so with this boot for many years.

Super comfortable
Would RecommendHave had these for about a month and a half, and really like them, they are like wearing sneakers, very light and comfortable, will be my new go to boots, probably wont be wearing them in the snow, as they are not water proof, or insulated, but that's only a few days a year that I wouldn't recommend wearing them, at least here in SE Pennsylvania, other than that I really like them, my feet dont hurt at the end of the day

Two Year Abuse, er, Review
Would RecommendI buy all my field techs their work boots. I use to go through footwear every other year, sometimes every year or more. I started buying Georgia Boot Renegades and managed to get an average of four years out of the boots before getting new ones. The Renegades aren't offered any longer so I went with the Eagle Lites. I've now got two years wear and tear on them so here's the review. The Lites compare to the Renegades in almost every way. We toss the laces instantly and install paracord. W...

Would RecommendHad to retire my first pair after two years and just bought my second pair. Will likely buy a third pair in a couple of years.

super comfortable
Would RecommendI've had them about a week. Very comfortable with no break-in required. Nice color and light weight. Would've rated 5 stars but because of steel shank I have to remove them when passing through security at work. Should've did my homework. Too soon to give grade on durability

Comfortable boot
Would RecommendMy husband has a hard time finding a boot that doesn’t need to be worn in..... this boot fit great right from the start with no “wearing in” period needed !

Liked my first pair so much I bought a second pair
Would RecommendThis is my second pair of the Georgia Eagle Light Work Boot as I liked the first pair so much I wanted a second pair in different width and length. In winter I wear a thicker, more heavier insulated boot sock so I needed to have a second pair in a different half-size and different width to accommodate my summer versus winter needs. These are still the most comfortable and light-weight work boot that I have found. I have had my first pair about a year now and have not worn it out so I went for a ...

Fixing splitting soles
Would RecommendGreat boots, very light and comfortable. Not made in USA any more - made in China. Soles split, as others have noted, Georgia Boot will replace in 1 year warranty period but not beyond. If your sole splits and is out of warranty, don't despair; I found that Boot-Fix Glue will repair it nicely. It has handled a month+ of farm work with no further problems. Recommend with caveat on splitting.
