Terrible Keypad
Brand new garage door opener and wireless keypad installed February 2026. Batteries on remote dead May 2026. In addition, only center column illuminates. Called Genie support and was told to replace batteries and only center column should illuminate. Lousy keypad. Will try a generic replacement as the Genie product is unacceptable and pretty obvious that Genie support is lacking. Love the belt drive opener though.

Would Not RecommendI cannot get this keypad to open my garage door!!! So annoying. Have tried and tried and nothing. I have a Genius model 2028 Professional and the Genie Universal keypad will not work. I can’t believe I am the o my one who can’t get the keypad to work

Genie Wireless Remote Keypad
Would RecommendThe Genie wireless remote key pad works very well and was super easy to install. It allows me to open both my garage doors individually from same key pad using same PIN code but with different suffix. It is capable of operating 3 separate doors. Your phone assistance during set up programming was great and got me running quickly.
