Working as advertised and saving us from having to replace the whole system or bypassing sensors.

Waited in my car for 9 minutes for my curbside pickup then finally walked in and got myself. Lowe’s pickup system is horrible now and when you used to have the lockers for self pickup. Why do you even have this “service?” BTW, the one star rating is for Lowe’s, not the product.

Genie Safe-T-Beam

I have two 30 year old Genie Screw Drive garage door openers that I installed myself. For the last year or so one of them had an issue with the safety sensor and many times the door would not close. Easy to install and works great

Fixed problem with garage door not closing

Garage door wouldn’t close reliably and steadily worsened over time, particularly during the day. Tried all the internet recommendations with old sensors e.g. cleaned, re-aligned, and shaded. These were seamless replacement for genie sensors and completely fixed the problem once installed.

Great service and parts

Genie were helpful online identifying the parts I needed (sensors). The price was reasonable, the shipping quick and our handyman had no difficulty installing the replacement sensors. It’s so nice to have a working door again.

These special replacement beam sensors are much more robust to outside light. The door shuts on very suuny days without failure.

Solved south facing garage door failures

We had the old style. Just bought the house and the garage faces due south. We were about to replace the entire opener when I discovered this. I was somewhat doubtful, the door would fail in a number of weird ways (mid-closing, mid-opening, or wouldn't close at all). Replaced the sensors a month ago, and it has worked flawlessly every time since.

Genie garage door sendors

My old garage door safety beams quit working but the garage door motor worked fine. I decided to replace my safety beams, so I copied down the genie model number on the lifting motor and called Genie. They helped me to find the correct safety beam for my opener. I bought a pair and they shipped them to me. When I got them I installed them and they work great. I am so glad it was easy and they work great.
