Didn't have to use this switch but since it is just a simple NO - momentary contact I can see no reason it wouldn't have worked if I had to use it.

It is small and nice and after you wire it to your door works great. Have not had an issue so far plus it worked great with my door.

I use this outside of my front door. You can change the settings to whichever works best for your household. You can also use this indoors
