Would RecommendI use this to test the moisture level of my lumber to determine when to seal or paint. Saves much more time then waiting a long period of time and hoping the lumber is dry enough. This is a must have if you have to do a lot of painting or sealing new wood constructions.

The instrument has two modes {building, wood} and informs user by placing the two pins into the surface to determine moisture presence. This works for me and I would buy another if needed. I have homes in multiple places and moisture issues seem to be universal.

Wouldn’t recommend for more than a 1 time use. It actually broke on the first use.
