Very quiet and portable

Runs everything I need it to- AC in the RV, Power tools when off grid and it’s light enough for this old geezer to pack around. Also so quiet that I can hardly hear it running from 35 feet away. Will be handy to run the freezer or whatever if the power goes out .

Dead battery

Bought it in February. Unpacked it in October. Battery was connected (wasn't supposed to be) and there was oil in the motor (wasn't supposed to be any oil). Must have been a refurbed item. Battery is dead and is not covered by warranty.

Works very well and is QUIET.

Our power was out for four days and my generator failed. I purchased the GP2500i and filled it with oil and gas. It started on the first pull of the cord. I ran it for the next day and a half to power the refrigerator, TV and some lights. It ran for at least 8 hours on a fill up. I never let it run out of gas but I know it was more efficint than my previous generators.

Was great in a pinch

Fantastic unit. I would recommend to anyone. My only complaint and not even enough to give less stars but the unit is heavy and would be nice if it had some low profile wheels for easier moving.

Never worked under load

My neighbor brought this new and it never worked since new. She gave it to my and I contacted warranty department and the said to take it to a city repair shop. The shop could not get help from the company. Thankfully I didn’t get a whole house generator. I have paperwork to show lack of help from manufacturer.

Lasted 10 hours

Was thrilled to get this unit and did a ton of research before purchasing. I ran this unit for approximately 10 hours and the digital screen stopped working. This was under a minimal load and under normal weather. After I shut it down for the day there was fuel leaking out of the case and onto the ground. I haven't been able to identify the leak but I suspect its likely carburetor related. I am currently working on locating a service repair dealer which is much harder than I thought it would be....

Out-of-the-box failure

3300 I set up easily and started on the first pull. I didn’t actually put an electrical load on it for a couple of weeks, and then discovered it wouldn’t run anything. I used an electric meter and discovered it was putting out 90 V. The store I purchased it from has a policy no returns once you put gas in a product. good unit, started first pull out of the box!

It would be usefull to have known the derate info before purchase. The info is on page 5 in the book. 3.5% per 1000ft above sea level is significant at 10,000 ft. If I had known to reduce the expected output by 35% I would have considered a larger unit. I'll still put it to good use and the portability is wonderful.

Cranks and runs Quite

Arrived on time, set up easy and breaking when smooth. I which there was an oil attachment for discharge when changing the oil...As others have stated I agree this price should include a wheel system why pay to another for their adapted kit.?? ME i placed my on a furniture move cart and it work just fine...

Very nice quality for the price

I was very impressed with the quality at this price range. Love this generator. The only ask is put a gas gauge say side linear window or tube showing gas level .

Good quality and value.

I choose it for my Rv. I took it on an12,000 mile Alaskan trip which included frost heave and dirt roads. The only issue is it quit cranking off the electric start. It does crank easy off the pull start. I had to use the pull start most of the trip. It was new when I left. It’s super quiet! Overloads for no reason.

I bought this unit for a month long trip. This thing turns off after a very short time displaying"overloaded" no matter what you do. I tested it with just a 1500 watt coffee pot and same result... "overloaded" Very dissatisfied with this product as it left us without power for a majority of our trip which was 80% dry camping. Don't recommend

Great looking , quiet and affordable generator!

Researched inverter generators on YouTube for hours to find the perfect unit to power my camper at unserved sites. Narrowed my choice down to the Honda EU 3000is or the Generac iQ 3500, but it was the Generac’s cost that made it the easy decision! Great Quiet Invertor

Runs my 30amp camper flawlessly. Camped beside people running a predator 3500 and a Westinghouse 4500 and this IQ3500 was much more quiet and lasted longer between fill ups. I can’t even hear this running when in the camper and eco mode turned off! A+ buy all around!

This product let me down

I purchased your iq3500 in August of 2022 and used it to power my RV twice in less than a year . The Electric start quite working in June is 2023 (less than one year ) , I checked the battery it was good . Would not do anything, I assume the starter went bad . Then I pull started it , started fine first 2 times . The third time that I tried to pull start it the pull start rope broke . Iq3500

At this point I have not used IQ3500 for it intended purpose. Therefore I am unable to fully rate the product at this point However I do have one concern. The lack of servicing dealers and the availability of maintenance kits in my area More to come

Quiet

I have owned a Generac pressure washer for more than 20 years, and previously owned a whole house generator, I have/had great service from both. Decided to purchase a small stand by generator - GP3300i. I have ran for a few hours and very happy. Quieter than I expected and does what I need.

Great Generator

Bought this generator to power my RV for off grid camping. Have only been out with it once so far but are very impressed with it. Starts like a dream and easily powers my AC and other things. Runs very quiet on economy mode. My only suggestion is that it needs wheels since it’s quite heavy to lift.

It is quieter than my honda

Can’t believe it doesn’t have a fuel shut off valve. Other than that it’s fine.

Started old generator and scared the neighbors. Bought the This generator and you can sit beside it and chat normally. Runs AC and everything in the RV.
