Well built item
This is the solution to keeping my generator dry when I'm running it outside. Easy to assemble, even with the slight modifications needed for my particular generator. Haven't had the opportunity to try it in rain or snow but the coverage it affords looks like it will keep it bone dry.

Easy installation. Will test during next outage
I was finally able to get around to installing my GenTent on my portable generator. The instructions were easy to follow. The parts seem sturdy enough but I will hold off on my final opinion until my first real life test (The only reason I didn't give five stars is that I haven't tested yet). The only thing I see that may be an issue is that my fill cap is under the tent so in an extended outage I will have to remove the tent to refill the gas tank. Not a big issue but...

My original package had no assembly manual so putting this thing together was a battle of extreme frustration. CSR provided a PDF file in an email and after looking at the pictures, it took me a total of 20 minutes to take it apart and reassemble it correctly. Aside from the fasteners there are no metal parts. The tent frame rods appear to be fiberglass, smooth finish. The clear plastic shielding for your battery and charging panel are quite thick. Purchased the GenTent 20K Stormbracer for my generator. Shipping was fast and assembly went well. Did have a small problem which customer service took care of very quickly. Fit and finish very good and does what it says it does. Now just waiting for a power failure to try it out.

A Helping Hand in Times of Need
My wife and I purchased this tent in order to protect our generator during Category 4 Hurricane Irma, little did we know that it would be needed to handle the wind and rain that Category 5 Hurricane Maria would bring with her for Puerto Rico. Excellent Product
We purchased this cover for our Generac generator right before Hurricane Irma struck Florida. The day after the storm struck we moved the generator outside to plug in to our house and we had the new cover on it and it did a great job keeping the occassional rain showers off the generator

The canopy material is excellent and it was installed within 30". However, on the side where all the outlets are, the canopy brackets are wanting to connect to a round pipe; it is not round on either side of the outlet panel - it is square. I forced it on and i will probably use a heavy tie wrap to keep in in-place. Overall, it is an excellent product.

Fits Like A Glove!
Couldn't be happier with our purchase! It fits our 15k generator perfectly! We get all four seasons here in Southern Oregon which includes heat, rain, and snow. The GenTent will protect the generator from all of these weather events when generator is rolled outdoors and in use. Hubby had no problem installing the GenTent. Great top!
I gave it four stars instead of 5 due to the situation I have with my generator. I have a unit bolted to the side that allowes me to use Natural Gas, Propane, or Gasoline to run. On that side the cover rod has to bend around this unit. I don't expect the design to change for just one generator, But this is my reason for 4 out of 5. It is very easy to install!

Great solution
It is nearly impossible to pull the generator out of a shed and then get it running. With the GenTent, the shed is no more, the generator is plugged, and ready to fire up. The GenTent covers and protects it. Ready for the next outage, and can do this by myself if my husband is not home.

GenTent 2k Stormbracer
Very satisfied with Gen Tent 20k Stormbracer kit and follow up service. The kit came with all the necessary parts and the addendum for the Generac 17.5k machine. The assembly was quite easy, especially after viewing the online video's. There was a problem with the top not having the 4th corner strap. Upon contacting Gen Tet, I received an answer the very next day. Mark, the company owner, replaced the defective top with another one. I would highly recommend the Stormbracer for outdoor operation...
