I live in southeast Texas and we see many storms that like to kill our power. This year I'm ready with a new generator and weather protection. Because my power goes out when it's raining, I purchased a GenTent cover that was made for my particular generator. To test it out, I brought it out of the garage and started it and hooked its up in a heavy rain storm. The GenTent did a fine job of protecting my equipment. I was surprised to find the propane regulator and hose along with the oil filler funnel in the box. Everything need for both gas and propane. Easy assembly, took a couple pulls for it to start but ran fine for over an hour. Then started surging/running unevenly. let it run for another hour and now is running smoothly again. So far I would give it a 4 our of five, but remains to be seen after using a couple times.

Would RecommendAfter 3 plus years and several hurricanes many thunderstorms and lots of hot sun on my Gen Tent covering my generator which stays outside and hooked up to our home it is still doing it's job of protecting the generator. No problems with rain or wind. The Gen Tent works as advertised.

Would RecommendThe instructions were clear and the fit was perfect for my model generator. That was the key part. They designed it to fit mine and there was no question regarding how it will fit and once unpacked it was on in no time No use yet but it’s just the start of the hurricane season and I’m ready now.
