Honda EU3000 owner / GenTent
The trickiest part of setting up the GenTent was holding the four corner braces/gator grommets in place when starting to tightening the tension strap. When storing the generator the extension arms need to be removed. They not designed to fold flat.

It seems to be a good product. I followed the assembly video and it was easy to install except that the video is outdated and the measurements were off from the instructions within the book. This problem caused a problem, until I looked in the book and got the correct dimensions.

Just the ticket
I was happy to find GenTent on the net as I was looking for an easy solution to covering my Honda EU3000is Generator when in use during power outages that can happen here from time to time. GenTent looked like a perfect solution for me, and so far it seems to be just perfect. It covers where it needs to cover most while allowing for exhaust to escape. It was very easy to install following the manual, supplemented by the YouTube videos covering each step.

Just what I needed
My new GenTent is working like a champ. Shortly after I deployed the tent on my Honda, we had an atmospheric river, high wind and rain. We experienced two power outages and we have critical medical equipment running in our home. The Honda ran most of the night while staying snug as a bug in a rug!

I wanted to like my Gen tent as the idea seemed like a great idea. However the instructions need to be made easier. Nowadays instructions need to be dummy proof. In other words bigger diagrams and pictures. Clear and concise instructions with much details. The instructions were no that concise and the pictures were mediocre. Stormbracer on Predator 3500
I recently received my Stormbracer kit and installed it on my Predator 3500 to test fit it. The install was pretty straighforward. It was very helpful to lay out all the parts and read the instructions completely before beginning the install. I also referred to a few YouTube videos that were helpful. It fits well and it looks like it will protect the generator well in a rainstorm. Good fit for my Honda 3000is
After much research on line GenTent was the only protective cover that could remain in place while my Honda 3000is genset was running. It was easy to set up and allowed access to all necessary controls and start functions. I highly recommend this product.

not what i expected
I was disappointed in how hard it is to set up. in a storm, you would have to have this ready to go, or at least 2 people. the strap was very difficult and it got stuck and it would not open. i had to cut it off. i would recommend if you can leave the tent on all the time so it is ready for use.

Great Product - Problems with Apron Fitment
The GenTent itself is a great product. There was a fitment problem with the clear apron I purchased as a separate item. The original apron fit correctly but the clear apron is slightly taller and causes a problem for me with the way it interferes with the spreader bar ends. Did put it together without a problem. I used the video to learn the process. The corner fittings were upgraded frame the little wheels to shaped blocks which worked easily.

Was worried about having my Westinghouse inverter/generator out over night without being covered in some manner. Saw your tent and bought it. 2 nights after delivery we had planned power outages her in the Bay Area of Commiefornia due to high winds/possible fires. I installed the GenTent and gotta say the strap was the only hard part, could have used an extra set of hands. Once installed the tent withstood 50mph gusts without showing anything more than a mere shimmy!! Thanks for a great product ...

Great Product!
I installed this product rather easily after getting the hang of the fitting of the parts. I haven't yet run the generator for any length of time so I can't say how well it will be protected under very adverse conditions; however I can say that the generator is always outdoors and we have had some fairly heavy rainstorms...the cover does its job. It does appear to be well made and looks like it will last for many years.

Even with the instructions, it took me a long time to figure out the best way to put the tent together. I suggest you provide a link to an instructional video for each model of generator/tent.

I hesitated to buy this because it didn't look like much for the money, but after seeing one in action and talking to its owner, I pulled the trigger. I'm glad I did because it's well engineered and protects an expensive generator well.

looks good so far. had cat 1 hurricane first week after it was sent to me.capacity 70mph wind rating.. will probably fail in cat 2-above.broke bracket putting together.
