Ease of use

My Fenix 6 quit charging via solar and Garmin replaced it with a touch 7. The 7 is much easier tho navigate with touch features and appears to charge way more efficiently. A full charge is double the time (days) the old 6 would hold. Also like the new feature of daily report when you awake from a night ya sleep. No hesitation recommending this product for the active person.

Upgraded from a 5x Sapphire

Definitely a big improvement from the 5x Sapphire. The key differences for me are the touch screen, flash light, and weight of the watch (significantly lighter than the 5x). Also I notice the software is a lot faster and seems more accurate than my previous 5x which was running slow. And battery life is long lasting. Touchscreen and flashlight

I recently traded in my Fenix 6X Solar for a Fenix 7X Sapphire Solar. Although the two watches are very similar, for me adding the touchscreen and flashlight features were worth the effort. I am very pleased with my decision and expect to have the Fenix 7X for several years before I look to upgrade again.

Good watch

Great functionality, good battery life. I have been having an issue with the menu button sticking and turning on the backlight, which runs the battery down faster. I wear it every day and work outdoors. Been using it for 6 months and it works well. Should come with screen protector and plug for charger port on back and are a must have, but those are not included. I changed out the band to a fabric style that is a little more comfortable and has more flexibility in adjustment.

Better battery life and couple of more options. Quality seems to be above average and ease of use is exceptional.

Perfect Outdoor Sport Watch

I upgraded from a Fenix 5X to my current Fenix 7X Sapphire Solar for just over a year now and am so incredibly pleased with it. Perhaps my favorite function the 7X has that the 5X did not have is the touch screen - absolute game-changer! Incredible upgrade from Fenix 5

I used my Fenix 5 over 6 years and it was an incredible watch. The upgrade to the 7x is awesome. Touch screen and light are great additions that I use more than anticipated.

Great watch

My wife bought this watch for me as a gift, mainly for the sleep functions and time zones. I have had it now for two weeks, everything was working as advertised until the past three nights when it stopped tracking sleep data. I read forums and tried troubleshooting but the watch disconnected from my phone and would not reconnect. Fenix 7x solar sapphire

I really love the watch. Accurate health tracking, solar extends the battery to much better life than my Fenix 5 sapphire that I upgraded from. If I can get sapphire solar on the Fenix 8x I'll get one of those too. Lol

My Favorite Watch Ever

I put on my Felix 7X Sapphire Solar, took off my Apple Watch and never looked back. My main activity is backpacking for exercise and I love my watch for tracking what I do. For me, it has encouraged a change in lifestyle. I have added a Garmin scale and a Garmin Blood Pressure cuff.

Best watch I've ever owned

I have done multiple Ironman races with this watch and never had any issues with it. I wear it every day and don't train without it. By far it is the best watch I've ever owned. One cool feature I never thought I needed was the light that can brighten or dim. It also can turn red and strobe. Highly recommend this watch to anyone looking for a great watch. Fenix 7X Solar edition review

I just recieved my 7x Solar and really like the upgrades available. The swipe screen is a time saver, and the tap light much easier. After only a week wearing it I've come to enjoy the other amenities that are available with it. shooting from my hip it's a plus from the 6X and glad I upgraded.

Best battery life!

I have owned the Garmin Fenix 7 Sapphire Solar for about a month. I have previously owned an Instinct Solar that I traded in for my Fenix. The battery life for both Garmins is great compared to the Apple Watch Ultra that I also own. I wear my watch 24 hours in order to track my sleep, and having to constantly charge my Apple Watch made it almost impossible. The Garmin features are also great, as I’m a recreational cyclist and track my exercise workouts.

Watch is Fine. Garmin Connect Redesign is awful

It's so disappointing when a vendor redesigns a piece of software without consumer feedback. Did you learn anything from "New Coke"? Windows Vista? Yes, Garmin owns this product, but it belongs to the consumer. Why can't Garmin management understand that?

So Many Features

I am still learning about the watch and trying to navigate the maps. It has so many features and love the touch screen. I almost thought it was glitching but I much have swiped it to the side as a screen lock, because I swiped it to the side and I was able to scroll through the many options and features. It also has a sleek design, and very pleased with its performance and style so far.
