Great battery life
I have had my vivoactive 5 for two weeks now. I simply love it. I was looking for a watch that had a longer battery life than my Lily 2 classic. (which I loved). I get 9 days before I have to charge. Still learning how to use all the features. Ony thing I really not keen on is the band. But easy to change.

Happy so far
I used a vivoactive 4 for quite a few years and I was overall happy with it. I have been looking at the 5 for months and my wife bought one for me for Christmas. There is a bit of a learning curve, perhaps slightly frustrating at times but now that I've worked through that, actually prefer the interface. I still occasionally forget how to do things like advance set in a work workout. I did just notice a couple scratches on edge of the bezel and crystal. I don't think I am particularly hard on it...

Great watch for someone like me who appreciates the simple aesthetic and design but also wants a watch that accurately tracks mileage. I switched to this watch from an Apple Watch and it’s safe to say I’m never going back. The numbers and data this watch collects seems very accurate and has a seem less connection to strava. This is great for a runner who wants the stats but not great for someone who wants to know every little thing going on in their body.

Where are the elevation fields
80% of the reason I purchased a Garmin watch was to track elevation. The elevation fields are not available on the Vivoactive 5 like the were on the vivoactive 4. The other 20% is to track distance, which I can confirm this watch does still do :(

Big Ugrade
I've been wearing for a month & have been learning something new everyday. Battery life is the best feature as it replaced my much loved Viactve 3 which could no longer hold a charge long enough to complete 4 hour activity. Sleep score/coach & reminders to get active are most useful in addition to body battery score.

I Hate it. Heart Rate on Wrist is not Accurate. Ha ve to wear chest monitor to correct heart rate

Only one fault!
I am in love with my Vivo5. It tracks my sleep, stress and steps way more accurately than any other fitness watch has. I can say, the only fault this watch has is its inability to track treadmill runs. Other than that I recommend this to everyone!

For the most part.
Mine works great, for the most part. It does have a habit of coming out of sync with Gamin Connect though. This last time it took forever to get it back in sync. Now, every time I happen to walk about 25 feet from my phone it vibrates and sends a message, "Phone Disconnected." And when I walk back within that range, it sends another message, "Phone reconnected." This has become rather annoying.
