Great features, many ways to follow daily actions

I love all the ways to track my activities on the watch and on the app on my cell phone. There so many ways to track many different activities, more than I will be able to use. But for many people it can be wonderful tool for real active individuals. I had a vivoactive 3 watch for many years before I decided to upgrade to this new vivoactive 5, GREAT move. Love it

I bought this about 3 weeks ago and it’s amazing! I love how it helps me with overall health. I love how I am Now more disconnected from my phone. Because has an Apple Watch previously.

Low battery life

I decided to reward my self at the end of this year by getting a Garmin Vivo 5 but I was disappointed because the battery life was one day. I recharged it and again it lasted for two days. I returned it back. But still I planning to have a new Garmin in the future with long battery life.

Love this watch!! It’s beautiful and looks in place both at the gym and at the office. The battery life has been awesome and I love that it updates itself without having to be attached to/synced up with a computer like my last one (VenuSq). Metrics track consistently with my prior watch and the face is easy to read and navigate. Love that there are so many options for the watch face, too. Very happy with this purchase!

Perfect

Does exactly what I was hoping for without overwhelming me. I was looking for something to help me understand my fitness and track my exercise as well as sleep. I still wanted it to have smart watch features as well, though. It does all of this well. How I have it set up, the battery lasts me 7-10 days. Battery life was another important feature to me.

Helping reach my fitness goals

I like my watch and would recommend it to others. It tracks a lot of metrics that were confusing at first, but have grown on me and now I appreciate. Overall high marks, very nice products Issues: It is not great at monitoring heart rate. Some time it reads low values and I move my watch a bit and then reading recovers. Maybe it a problem common to all wrist type measurement, so I understand why some people also buy the chest monitor. I plan to, but they currently have a long lead time. ...

Good

The watch looks nice and it’s not bulky. It’s very similar to the Apple watch just that you can’t answer text on the watch. The battery goes low if you are getting all ur notifications. If you’re getting it for the training feature it only goes up to a half marathon, so if you’re doing a marathon it won’t give you suggestions.

No always on display and not on with movement

Got this one to replace my old Vivoactive3, disappointed. Watch face do not stay on and it does not turn on with turn of wrist. I will start looking for alternatives.

Great battery

The battery life is so fantastic. I has a model 3 and upgraded a bit which made a huge difference. Pleased with some of the metrics it keeps. I'm by no means super active but I am working on becoming more so. This is the encouragement I needed.

Much Improvement on an Already Excellent Model

My third iteration of this product line. Purchased to replace aging Vivoactive 3. Significant upgrade with much more health data and improved accuracy, particularly in sleep measurements. Much better in my lap swimming. Hats off to Garmin for making it affordable and significantly improving its usefulness and performance.

Significant Upgrade to my VA3

I'm happy with my purchase at the sale price I paid. It seems to be more accurate than the watch it replaced and includes a number of new features to justify the upgrade. Battery life for me is 7 days.

Band made my wrist raw

The band that shipped with the fitness tracker caused my wrist to become raw. Currently trying to find a replacement band so that I can continue to use the device. The features are very nice to have when i could wear the device. Need to find a good replacement band that will not irritate my skin.

Easy and Fantastic

Love how easy it is to use everything on it. Great brightness and clever making time lighter during the night. Told my BFF about it she's buying one now.

Great GPS Good Apps

I moved from a Fitbit to the Garmin VA5. I do like it, but even after a yr I'm still swiping when I should be pushing a button. The Fitbit was much more user friendly. Easy swipes then taps. Easy pause taps during exercise. This watch still has a way to go to simply things. It should be the way of the our phones, easy taps and swipes.
