Amazing all around!

I had a samsung galaxy watch for many years. I thought I was going to miss the touch screen but this instinct 2 solar is amazing. I feel like I wasn't getring an accurate assessment of my health and wellness until now. This watch is so functional, and i still haven't tapped its full potential yet. It also looks badass on my wrist!

Best Watch Ever

I've had several different Garmin watches, this one takes the cake. Best sport performance watch I have ever owned. And, it takes a beating while I am white water kayaking, mountain biking, or riding snow mobiles, and no issues.

Excellent Functionality

I purchased this watch amount a month ago looking for something to wear on runs, workouts, and during outdoor recreation. This watch has exceeded all expectations. I was worried that it would be bulky and uncomfortable to sleep in but that has been a non issue.

Minimalists Dream Watch!

I'm the type of person who wants a watch to display the most amount of information, in the most minimalistic way possible. The Garmin Solar Instinct 2X definitely does not disappoint in those two criterias, in fact, it far exceeds any standards I ever had while searching for the right smartwatch to suit my needs. Fantastic tool and I really like the lightweight and form factor, plus the torch.

Really like this watch

The new tech and measures are great. Longer battery life is a huge benefit for me. The only minuses are mapping which I rarely used and no color. But, the better battery was worth it. The face is also easier to read and it looks substantial without the weight. Best garmin I’ve had yet and the best value for the money.

Battery life is awesome. I don't need to charge it everyday. Battery life is talking about month.

Best Garmin Watch I have owned this far!

What stands out: - ruggedness - ease of use - battery charge intervals (you will forget when you charged it last) - feature rich (besides the obvious activity tracking, I love the flashlight and NFC pay features I really have no downsides to report.

Great watch with all the right features

I bought this watch for the extended battery life, and boy does it deliver. Got it about 2.5 weeks ago and the battery is still at 42%. This watch has all the health and smartwatch capabilities that I need, and who knew I needed a flashlight on my watch!

Does Not Charge as Expected

I love the display and the features are great. So far, it has not recharged as I was led to believe that it would. I live on the East Coast of Central Florida, so it isn't as though we don't get a good amount of sunshine. I replaced a Fenix 5X Plus which did not seem to hold a charge very well and so far the Instinct Solar's battery seems to be diminishing at the same rate.

Amazing battery life. all the essential functions

Battery life lasts much longer than my previous version and solar helps a little. Back to back GPS recording will drain any device, but the simple screen keep this efficient. The new x size is just right.

Great watch

I am beyond happy with this watch, it’s got everything thing I need all on my wrist. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because the weather app on the watch constantly doesn’t work and the farming help page is unhelpful for such a problem

Realiable and exactly the features I wanted

Easy to use with the features I want .. speed, altitude, glide ratio, glide to destination. The tracks are easy to download for review of flights .Solar gives great battery life. I’ve found the red flashlight to be very handy

Most of the things I need...

This watch does almost everything I want it to. It tracks all my activities really accurately (MTB, Snowboarding, paddling). Tracks my sleep and has great insights on health like HRV and smarts with my phone really well. The Torch is awesome and I use it all the time. I just wish it would do red light too. Great features

I got this as a replacement for the solar surf. I love how it sinks with satellites quickly and only shows the activities I do instead of displaying too many.

The best features, but huge

5mo Update: It seems my skin issues have subsided a bit so I'm cropping this up to a me issue and improved the rating. Perhaps it's just something to get used to. Great health/activity tracking and battery charge lasts 2+ weeks

My sons bought this watch for me for my birthday. I tracks my sleeping quality, heart beat, breathing and activities. The Garmin Connect app interfaces very well with my iPhone. The light function on the watch is very helpful, although it does use the battery quickly. So be careful about using it. The face of the watch is customizable.
