I wear this watch pretty much every day, and it's been amazing. It's survived mountain bike crashes to deep whitewater swims and came out completely unscathed. I thought the white band would get dirty or fade, but over the last 2 years, it's been great. The only thing I would say is that if you sweat a lot you might want to look for a non-silicone band or just remember to take the watch off from time to time.

Worth The Price
I’ve had this watch for about a month, its got more features than you'd expect. Comfortable, not clunky, amazing feel on the buttons. Super long battery life I’ve only charged it once. Highly recommend if you need an outdoorsy or active lifestyle watch.

Nice watch but less battery life than the original
I really like this watch, but my personal experience is that the Instinct 2 has slightly less battery life and a less efficient solar charging than my original Instinct watch. There are some new bells and whistles over and above the first version, but I really don't use those much.

Great battery life and fitness features
I’ve been wearing my Garmin Instinct 2 Solar watch for about a month, and it’s great! I was charging my old Apple Watch twice a day, but the Garmin can go two weeks without charging which is much more convenient. The Fitness Age, VO2 max, and detailed running stats have encouraged me to increase my fitness level. The solar charging is not as quick or substantial as I hoped. After sitting on the beach in full sun for an hour, it only increased its charge by 2%.

Recently purchased...very different then what Im used. No touch screen is kind of a deal breaker. No the easy to manuver..just more if a learning curve them anything.

I’m still finding features that it has.
Very happy. Battery life is wonderful like 21 days!! The only thing I don’t like is the morning feature and that’s because I can’t see it without my glasses and I may be able to change that.

Not for me
Love the battery life, dislike the user interface. Probably more of a me problem than an it problem but I’m pretty spoiled by the Iwatch user interface which is much more user friendly.

Smartest + Durable...est
Smartest watch I've ever owned. I sell them where I work, but I had no idea how I would come to appreciate it in my everyday life. I previously had the Google Pixel Watch 2, and the OS was kind of crammed full of useless features. The instinct 2 lets me know how hard I should go in the gym depending on how my sleep or day was. Crazy good. My last watch stopped working because I dove too deep for too long in a Florida spring and I am confident that won't happen with this one.

Great device for the money
I got this watch about a month ago. It has great battery life for general use. It is durable and I really like the basic display. Navigating the buttons and menu is a bit of a challenge but I am still figuring it out. I recommend it for anyone who wants to track basic activity without too many flashy options and displays.

No Bluetooth to Phone
I bought the watch about 2 weeks ago. I was really excited to try it out. However, even after trying all troubleshooting options, the watch would not pair with my phone. I am very very disappointed!!!

Garmin instinct solar
I’ve had this about a month now and love everything it does. Owned a Fitbit before this and it does take getting use to using buttons instead of watch face but it’s great! I don’t see myself getting anything but garmin now.

Changed from a Vivoactive 4 to a Instinct 2 Solar
My wife and I both changed from a Vivoactive 4 to an Instinct 2 Solar. The Instinct 2 is definitely an upgrade in terms of tracking activity. The watch and the Garmin Connect software has much more details around sleep, running, and forecasting your readiness for future excercise. I would recommend the upgrade for those that have mastered the Vivoactive 4 and want to go deeper into what Garmin tracks. Also, my wife got the Instinct 2S, for her smaller wrist and that worked out well.

I made the switch
Before I using the Instinct Solar 2, I was a Fitbit guy. I’ve enjoyed the customization of the screen. The size of the 45mm allows me to view all the stats I need throughout the day and during my workouts. I’m a huge fan of the hot keys for my stop watch/timer. The AI is pretty neat too, but the quality of the watch is in the correct tracking of metrics.
