Garmin 265s

I've been using Garmin products for over 10 years. I've never been disappointed. The Garmin Forerunner 265s is no exception. It performs as described, heart rate function is super accurate ( comparable to my chest strap), battery life is exceptional. This is my second Garmin forerunner, my first one was a 245 and after 5 years still performs like new, even battery life is within a day or two from when it was new. I only upgraded to get more functionality. I would highly recommend this watch, you...

Changed my life

The training plans are excellent, the sleep tracking is transformational. This watch is a run coach, health advisor, and motivator all rolled into one well designed package. Helped me qualify for Boston!

Lightweight and powerful

Does everything an outdoor enthusiast would expect out of a smartwatch. I have the Fenix 7x as well and this is a good compliment for when I want to go lighter weight. Used it for mountain biking, hiking, running and yoga. Love that is has a mapping feature and touch screen. It has more functionality then the average person needs and I likely won't use all the features but it's nice to know it's there if I need it.

If you have other Garmin devices, this watch can add all activities to Garmin Connect. The watch is lightweight and the screen is bright. It is small enough to wear comfortably through the night. The battery life could be improved.

Great running watch. As someone with smaller wrists, it doesn't feel obstructive at all, and has all the features I need. I'm glad to have something help me keep my pace without having my phone on me. Probably a good fit for any runner

Lovey this watch! I am a triathlete and it has everything I need on it. I had a 955 solar before which is a more expensive watch but this one works much better. Would highly recommend

Great iteration of the Forerunner

As someone with smaller wrists, I appreciate that Garmin makes a smaller diameter watch. The 265S is the best of those so far. Great GPS accuracy, comfortable, strong battery life, and a much improved screen. I love the Fenix as well, but the added factor of the Forerunner being super lightweight (and not needing the added functionality of the Fenix line) makes makes the 265 my winner.

Kilometers wrong

Started off great then my distance started calculating wrong, always short of a kilometer or 2. Checked to see if an update is required but it's not. Have no idea how to correct this. Also the charging type c cable is also super annoying because it has to be charged in your phone unless get an adapter which is not part of the box and is very expensive.

I love my Garmin 265s! It is the perfect size for my smaller wrist and has all of the functions that I need it to have. I've used it for tracking runs, swims (pool & open water), bike rides and to put it all together - a triathalon! This watch is a good in-between option for the intermediate looking to upgrade or a beginner wanting to dive in with a more advanced watch. The data on training readiness and recovery time is really interesting - but be sure to always listen to your body over your wa...

I finally pulled the trigger

After using the Apple Watch for years and having it die on runs and hikes I switched! The watch fits perfectly. I like the smaller size. Hikes and runs are super easy to track. It stays charged forever!!! I have recommended it to so many outdoors folks! I should have bought it first and never gotten another brand. After teetering for months to get it I finally did. I really should have bought it a year ago. I tried it on at Trail days in Damascus VA and went home and purchased on expert voice...

Nice to track performance, readiness, use as a HRM

Got the S-model because I'm wearing it as a second watch (Apple can't do a sports watch, Garmin can't do an Apple-compatible smart watch) and wish I'd gotten the regular sized 265--viewing while running would be better with a larger screen and I don't think I did anything to reduce the geek factor of having two watches by choosing the smaller size. Impressed with battery life and feel a lot of the metrics are accurate. I appreciate that Garmin is cascading down software updates from higher-end m...
