This watch has been a huge upgrade from my old forerunner 45, it didn’t have a flashlight function which now it does, it’s pretty nice actually, when I was sick it sent me messages that “some parameters were out of normal range” maybe it could detect issues that maybe you don’t feel symptoms of. I honestly think it’s so good because it tells me how I am doing based on the data it collects, totally different from forerunner 45. This watch is truly a spectacular design by Garmin I have to say.

Great Watch for Beginner to Intermediate
Battery life is great compared to other brand smartwatches. The heart rate on the Forerunner is much more precise that the lower level Garmins that I have used before. Great for tracking my 10K runs and training for other longer runs.

Fantastic!!!
Hello- former Garmin user from 10+ years ago, which was the first version of the Vivioactive. It just didn’t have enough functionality back then, and I opted to switch to an Apple Watch. I recently got back into running and know that the Apple runs really close on battery for the longer runs. Plus I never can wear my Apple to bed for sleep tracking, because that’s when it gets charged. So I went with the Forerunner 265 after much research on the best Garmin product for runners, and I absolut...

Great watch
Love the watch. I've had it for just over a year, and have no complaints. Great to run with, easy to use. Highly recommend.

Great running metrics
I have had a long line of Garmin watches. I came from a Venu2s. I wanted to go back to something that had more running metrics/running forward. I am really enjoying learning about all the metrics it provides.

I love it!
Ive been using Garmin Forerunner since back in 2008ish. and have upgraded my watch 3 times Im now enjoying the range of options to "workout" that this model has. The face is well lit and easy to read. I have only had the watch now for about 2 weeks but the ease of using the touch screen is awesome. and the watch band is VERY comfortable and seems more breathable then my 255 was. I did have one glitch that a ride I took was saved on my watch but didn't go to the Garmin app. I have spotty conne...

Awesome
I bought this after having had the Coros Pace 3 for a year and it was an amazing upgrade. I liked my coros but the screen and some of the new functions are amazing I am not switching back.

Great watch for cross country
I bought this watch unsure which model was the best of Garmin and without trying the other ones this is easily worth the money and definitely worth the self investment I run cross country in highschool and it tracks more then enough for me to understand what’s going on and that’s only one side of this watch it has hiking swimming features that I don’t use it is a seem less connection whether iPhone or Samsung user I love how it connects to Strava to track runs and is easily a top choice for me

Great Everyday sports watch
I use this as a daily watch. Gives great insights for training readiness and sleep. Great list of sports that you you can use it for, even if it's marketed as just a running or triathalon watch. Lacks some depth in certain sports that Garmin makes more specific products for (cycling, golf, etc...) but a great do-it-all option.

Amazing features! Great Buy!
Husband bought this for me as a birthday present! So far I Love it! It’s lightweight and easy to set up. I mainly use it for health info on sleep, stress and battery etc. unlike Apple Watch I love the simplicity of the watch itself. I also turned off notifications to prolong the battery. I’m so glad my husband gifted me this! We ended up getting our daughter one for her cross country!

3 Week Update
I give the watch a solid 9/10. I deduct the one because the app is glitchy at times, and setting the watch up was somewhat glitchy. Other than that I've loved having the watch. I do keep the gps on so the battery life is a week instead of the 14 days which isn't super horrible. Highly recommend though.

Questionable value for an older person
I've used this watch for a year now and find it is not the best watch for a septuagenarian. After a prostatectomy I get up several times each night to go to the bathroom. Frequently the watch resets my sleep time to begin after I have been asleep for a few hours. It does not record steps when mowing the lawn or doing grocery shopping. Otherwise, I like the features on the face and the accuracy of heart rate when working out. Remarks the watch gives me on need to reduce stress or how much...
