New Best Friend!!
I’m about 3 weeks in with my new best friend and am loving all the features, especially the sleep coach and training coach. Can’t wait to run my big race with it in June.

Not user friendly
The lack of clear written instruction and challenges with connecting the Forerunner 265 to my android phone is giving me headaches. The watch is very confusing to use and I can't event get it to return to the base watch face in order to look at the time. Garmin needs to provide clearer instructions that are working in simple terms.

Good watch for basic triathlon
I asked for this watch for Christmas as an upgrade from my forerunner 165! I am very pleased with this watch and it is a bit more accurate and can do a bit more than my 165! Worth the upgrade for sure.

New favorite piece of equipment
Got this as a Xmas gift , much fancier than what I asked for but boy am I glad . It’s been such a useful tool in my fitness journey and helping me train for a 5k as well as set up workouts.

Upgrade from my Garmin 735. The 265 is a great watch that fits all of my needs. I like the Amoled screen more than I expected. Easy to see while running in low light conditions. Garmin builds a great product.

The ui is easy to use and it has a lot of great features such as body battery and on device music from streaming services such as Amazon music and Spotify. Amazing insights: not like apple ecosystem
I love the features such as training effect and training readiness. The watch seamlessly pairs with partner apps like strava and spotify, however it does not support apple music and i’ve had difficulties pairing it to the apple health app

Overall Great Watch
Overall, I love the Forerunner 265. Comfortable, battery life is outstanding, and I especially like the "Training Readiness" feature. That was a main reason I bought it. The one big thing I wish Garmin could fix is reading the heart rate through tattoos. I need to switch which arm the watch is on while I workout and sleep as I have dark ink in certain spots on my wrist and it cuts out. I'd jump on a new watch if you guys could fix that.

The body battery feature was something that attracted me to the garmin product. I leaned towards it because I am someone who needs their sleep. My job puts me in the position that a person must ignore sleep needs. I drive long distances weekly and I’m going to be curious to track my body battery and see how closely it lines up with reality. BRIGHT display!!!
I love this watch! It’s the 6th Garmin I’ve owned and certainly my favorite. It’s light weight and the display it’s bold and easy to read! The colors are brighter and the GPS connects as soon as I turn it on. Highly recommend this watch.
