Necessary features/metrics for Triathlon training and racing, at a reasonable price. Works well with all heart rate straps (Wahoo Elemnt Rival had this issue). Only downside is that it doesn't have the full extended display feature to automatically sync to your head unit on the bike (Extended Display Mode), apparently it only broadcasts heart rate. Either way I can set my head unit up to stay on in transition and just hit start to see data on the bike.

Great watch does everything you need it too
I've had this watch for almost a year. It's been really good and does everything I want at a good price. Battery life is awesome, I usually get 11 days in normal mode and 28 days in low power mode.

Nice Updates
Original 255 began giving me issues w/ some features and Garmin replaced it under the warranty. While the first one was nice the replacement has features the original lacked and I am very pleased with both the watch and the company for standing behind the product. Easy replacement after receiving assistance via a chat session. Love this watch!

Forerunner 255 is a good smart watch, it has all the functions I need. I especially love the haptic metronome for running. It vibrates and reminds me to follow the the target cadence. But unfortunately, I'm allergy to the rubber band. I searched around and didn't find an affordable hypoallergenic watch band. I tried a 3rd-party nylon band but it didn't help too much. Easy to Use!
Recently purchased and still breaking it into my running schedule but so far it’s quite an upgrade from my old Garmin 225. Am very satisfied! It’s lighter, has a bit larger screen and more features at an affordable price. What more could you ask for in a basic running watch? No need for extra bells or whistles.

Loving it.
This is about my 5 Garmin and I think I like this one the most. I did have a 620 that was close to this one, but I like this one more. I am following one of the Garmin coach plans I I like that it is simple to pick a plan and it will adjust to my bodies feedback. I have 2 apple watches and one smart ring and now I don't wear any of them. I now use the garmin to track my sleep too.

Really like how it looks
It’s a nice looking watch. That’s the only positive thing I can say. It has way too many bells and whistles. The heart rate sensor rarely works even in combination with a Garmin HRM Pro Plus heart rate monitor. I have an Instinct 2 solar that works much better. I would not recommend getting this for tracking running data, but it is a nice looking watch.

Perfect for me
After starting a new job and needing to k own the time quite frequently I picked up a tidal blue 255. I hadn't looked into it much but at its sale price I snagged it. So far its been absolutely awesome for both work and out of it. Hiking, running you name it its been a great companion

Battery life and perfection in tracking
Had Google and Fitbit watch was always getting bummed out that I had to charge 1 hr in morning to make sure I had enough juice for the whole day and night. Look No Further!
Are you tech challenged? Want a simple way to track activity right "out of the box"? This watch is IT! I LOVE the design...the graphics are BRIGHT AND LARGE enough to read at an arms length. The function buttons respond instantly! My Venu Sq face would fog up after every run making it hard to use functions. I have been running in 94%+ humidity and have had NO FOG!! I also love the LONG LIFE BATTERY! Wow!!
