Copper clad but works well. Drives in the ground well as long as you don't hit large rock.

Long copper grounding rod
Would RecommendI bought this 8 foot solid copper grounding rod to ground a generator under a few certain circumstances. The generator is to power tools inside of a barn and this is a very nice, long, solid, copper, grounding rod that will get the job done for sure. I felt like it was also a good price and not too hard to find within the store.

Would RecommendThe ground rod was exactly what I expected. It went in easy.

Would RecommendThe rod was easy to drive in. It has a pointy nose on one side and a flat on the other side.
Great quality product
Would RecommendGreat quality and was easy to install. Didn’t like that my veteran discount did not apply but the product was well-made. Seems the discount doesn’t apply to most copper goods like wiring and this grounding rod.
