The most aggravating strap I wasted money on!

So I bought this strap because my EGO string trimmer didn't come with one, and it was the only one I could find in Lowe's with a padded shoulder strap. Good and sturdy strap. Comfortable shoulder strap with good padding. Strap is easily adjustable. Easy to attach to weed eater with the quick connect.

This could be a great item for anyone using a string trimmer. The shoulder pad is comfortable the strap is long enough even for a tall person but it has one small problem. Unless I'm doing something wrong the strap won't stay adjusted to the length that I need to use the trimmer comfortable. I find myself adjusting it every few minutes as it keeps slipping. If a more secure and easy method to lock the strap in place where add this item would be improved greatly. Another thing the packaging state...

Great strap for balance, but it can get you burned

This wasn't the style I wanted, but it works pretty good. Watch out for where you arm or chest touches the weedeater. With the way this type of strap brings the weedeater close in too you, it is super easy to get burned. The strap is great at balancing the weight and the bungie part reduces the jarring of the weedeater on your shoulders and back. Great product.

too short to do any good for a Craftsman trimmer

I am average height, 5'7", and even with the strap adjusted to maximum length, it still held my Craftsman string trimmer about 1 foot above the ground. Totally useless for me. (Obviously some other trimmer might have a longer rod to attach to.)

Works fine. I do regret that it only goes over one shoulder. One that goes over both shoulders would probably support long usage better.
