Replaced a 10 year old knob on my John Deere lawn tractor, used for mowing, snow plowing, spreading and hauling. The old one was great. The replacement looks just as sturdy so I expect it to outlive what is left of the tractor and join me on a new one.

Would Not RecommendI put the knob on my new JOhn Deere S130 and used it one time. At the ned of that use the steel band that clams it to the steering wheel broke in two. Lowes replaced it and I have put it on my mower. We will see how long this one lasts. I have an Easy Rider steerting knob that I put on my older JD that has lasted 5 years. It is much more solidly constructed than the current model.

Would Not RecommendThough I like it when it is working, it keeps braking. I have had 2 break within the same mowing summer (residential use). The strap broke next to the fastener nut. It must be a weak metal strap that is used.
