Lacking snack compartment

Very dissapointed this model (GSS23GYPFCFS) doesn't have snack drawer. No place to put cold cuts, cheese, small items, etc.

Great frig!

So happy to find frig that fits into my allotted space. Love icemaker and outside water dispenser.

GE side by side

The angle of the water spout and length of opening is too small with tray in. Water sprays forward at you if you try refill a water bottle. I like the ice cream storage spot over the ice maker, it keeps ice cream servile instead of rock hard. Overall it's a nice fridge.

Wonderful design

I absolutely love my new refrigerator freezer. It’s a side by side. The spot we have to put it in requires a smaller size and for us to easily get this GE beautiful appliance, means so much. I love the design of the shelves and lighting. It actually makes our cabinetry that it sits beside look so much better. I would not have guessed that would be a plus. Thank you for making our kitchen so much prettier.

My fridge

I love how big the refrigerator is de is . Only thing is , there is no lunch meat and cheese drawer!. I have to use one of my fruit drawers for that That's the only negative thing. Other than that, is a beautiful purchase. Thanks GE

Just problems so far

The refrigerator was defective when it was installed. The water filter froze apparently so the water line plugged. That is being replaced under the warranty tomorrow. In addition the refrigerator temperature reading is constantly at a level less than the setting. I set the temperature at 38 degrees as recommended but the actual temperature is somewhere between 25 and 28 degrees. I don't know whether that has to do with the water filter freezing or whether the water filter freezing was due t...

Still not making ice……

Refrigerator is very nice. Freezer is small. The main issue I have is that it is still not making ice after installation. It has been 5 days. Supposed to take 12-24 hours by what the owners manual states.

The lighting makes it easy to see on all shelves, excellent feature. Another shelf in both the freezer and refrigerator sections would be good, we had to order extra shelves.

Very hard to keep clean

So far, probably the worst unboxing experience ever. Parts missing. Tape glue stuck to shelves. Noisier than our 20 year old fridge. Can’t change Fahrenheit to Celsius; can’t turn off the beeping. Bottom drawer is very small - not full depth. Hard to level. VERY BAD for fingerprints. Design is acceptable overall but the sides are a brownish-black. Not super efficient compared to higher end models. With estimated annual 673kWh. Very unhelpful instructions and telephone...

Just Right

I love my new fridge. It is just the right size and looks great in my kitchen. Great quality and affordable price.

in a pinch

Needed a refrigerator to fit a small spot and wanted a side-by-side refrigerator, this worked. The delivery guys were excellent. But the doors did not align perfectly. As we will be remodeling the kitchen in the near future this will do, as it will end up in the garage. We decided to keep it, and deal with the misalignment. Works excellent. Was priced well and fit in a tight spot.

Easy replacement

Bought to replace an existing frig. Wanted to stick with a GE as the repair company said most reliable. Hope this one last more than 6 years!

Brand solid. Bins and door storage less so.

GE Profile replaced a previous larger GE Profile. Overall review is that it is still a rock solid brand after 10 months on this one and almost a decade on previous. Ice maker still working (prev GE ice broke in warranty and then again shortly after, out of warranty, so left it broken). Filtered ice and water is delicious so don’t bypass the filter.
