Terrible GE consumer service

Won’t deal with GE again. I purchased a unit like this a few months ago and inspected it for physical damage when it arrived — everything looked fine. I installed it two weeks later, only to discover it had a manufacturing defect. GE rejected the replacement request because of their 24-hour return policy (which is why I was told to inspect it immediately upon delivery). Customer service promised it would be repaired. Now, 59 days later, after four technician visits and about seven hours on the ...
