Ge product is total garbge. The rude people at Lowes State College refuse to help or even provide repair part numbers. Finally talked to GE customer service. They said the product is discontinued. Don't understand why Lowes hasn't closed the State College location. They don't even stock basic items for home improvement. We buy online from Menards. We also call Menards Westover WV location and they ship right away to our door and have great attitudes.

DO NOT LAST

Bought two sets November of 2023 and all went well 2023 & 2024. Put them up beginning of December 2025 and did not make it to Christmas. Both sets - Fuses are good, resistance from plug to plug is good and I get power through entire set, but no lights on either set. $90 down the drain. Sure they have a 5 year warranty and I have my receipt. You have to pay to ship them back so they can troubleshoot. With shipping cost being through the roof don’t know what I’ll do. Warm white???????

Bought these lights with the expectation they would match my warm white garlands I already have. Unfortunately these lights claim to be warm white in color but are not even close. I would describe the color as being closer to pure white leaning towards cool white more than anything else. These lights do not give off any of the warm yellow light that you would expect “warm white lights” to have. Good luck matching any of your other lighted decorations to this white color. Terrible lights, would never buy

I bought these lights to hang on my trees outdoors. I bought 6 pairs in total and 5 out of the 6 died within a month, despite them being indoor / outdoor lights and there being a 5 year warranty for them.

Beautiful lights

Love the lights they look great on the Christmas tree. My only complaint is I had to return the first set because one bulb came it out it’s plastic cover.

Sadly defective

Bought these last year (2023). They worked great and look so good. This last season (2024) I put them up and they all worked. About 2 weeks later I had a few lights go out. After another week 80% of the lights were out. I checked the fuses and they were fine. I'm quite disappointed over this. My old school lights before these lasted over 25 years. I bought these ones because the glass ones would break and I had to replace them. I thought the plastic would be good. They were, for 1 season.

Lights burn out too quickly.

I'm too old to be bothered with putting lights up that don't work, and this was after we bought three new strands last year only to have one that only has about six lights that actually work.

Replacing the incandescent bulbs

Not as warm and nostalgic like the original C9's. Still they are pretty, not as bright as some LEDs that produce a glare.

Don't purchase Christmas items

The product is fine. I purchased them a few weeks ago unopened. I was out of town for a few weeks around the holidays and tried to return them the day I got home. The would not return the merchandise.

DO NOT BUY

I purchased these lights on November 25 and put them up outside on November 26th. When I took them down on January 1st, I was very careful with them because after spending $135 for three strings I wanted to make sure they lasted. But after bringing them inside, I plugged one set in and noticed several bulbs out which weren't out when it was outside. Good lights, great price

Great product! I was a little discouraged about purchasing because of the reviews. Stating they aren’t bright. I took a chance an purchased anyway. They turn out great!

They do not illuminate as well as you think.

I like the length but they lights were quite dim.

I purchased these lights last year. When we put them up this Christmas season, a few of the lights were out. A week later, more lights were out! I would expect they would last more than one season! Other lights I have purchased in the past have worked for years. I am very disappointed.
