Disappointing

I'm frustrated with my brand-new GE GDP670SYVFSS. If I put the middle rack up high, my normal-size wine glasses bonk into the top rack. If I put the middle rack down low, the water spray arm bonks into the silverware. The racks are rickety and hard to slide in and out. None of the tines fold down on any of the racks. There's no way to keep wine glasses from flopping around. There are water spots at the end of the cycle, so I guess I'll have to buy a "rinse agent" - something my old machine didn'...

After fixing, works pretty darn good

Replaced a 20 year old unit with this one , and my old unit worked beatifully.. Only replacec cause I had a sale for buying two GE appliances so I added this dishwasher.. Even if I prewash the dishes, I do not know it they will get clean in one cycle.. sometimes its three or four.. I have tried everything.. but this unit is not worth what I spent on it.. I wish there were a way to return, but I cant.finally , at wits end I have scheduled someone to come look at it.. I should have returned it ....

Excellent

I liked the fact that a perfect fit was the result of installing.

Easy to self install.

All stainless interior and door. Very quiet and does an excellent job cleaning dishes

The new unit is almost identical to our 7yr old one that died. New features were explained to us by the installer and the switch went flawlessly. No mess and very quick installation.

delivery delayed and then damaged

Delivery was delayed a week. Had to reschedule plumber and then dishwasher was damaged before it got out of the box. Delivery guys just roughly dropped it to the floor. DIdnt unbox it until plumber could get there to put it in and thats why we didnt know until it was out of the box that it was damaged. i cant comment on the product since we havent used it

Only good for 6 months

I had no issues with this dishwasher for 6 months then the control board had an alarm and I contacted GE through the warranty. I have now had service technicians to my house on 4 separate occasions in one month and still don't have a working dishwasher. All electrical components have been replaced and the dishwasher still does not run. Not happy the way helped me handle my concerns.My brand new dishwasher had a problem with silverware basket. I couldn’t latched part of it.Lowes had me going back to GE to ge and they had me going to Lowes.Lowes said they couldn’t just replace the basket but could put a new dishwasher in.Well anyway I am very upset with the kind of service I got when they shold have got the problem taken care of instead of me

Product is great, It was the Customer service at the Lowes. I purchased this dishwasher and Lowes had their people do the install. Install went great and the old haul away was fine. It came to afterwards when the technician was demonstrating how to use the dishwasher. He accidently broke the spotless rinse plastic panel door.
