Quiet and easy to operate

Our new GE. Dishwasher is easy to operate, and very quiet. We are happy consumers.

Good dishwasher

The dishwasher works as advertised. I would have liked for the spoon tray to have guides that keep the spoons separated from each other

Piece of junk.

Both the upper and lower baskets are poorly designed. The bottom basket falls off the tracks when you open and close it. What a piece of junk. And it won't let me add the photos. And I had to go through seven different nicknames to find one that hadn't already been used!! SMH

Good buy

works great and as expected, low noise, seems to have a long normal cycle and no quick cycle, easy to install.

Iffy touch pads

Looks great works good only problem I’m having is cancelling cycle & shutting it off. I read directions that said hold the start button for 3 seconds & it would cancel. Have to do it many times for it to shut down. This is very frustrating. Iffy

Useless

Quit working after 5 days of use after being bought completely new. Waste of money, time, and incredibly upsetting experience, do not recommend. I had faith in the brand before this terrible experience.

Good Dishwasher

Works quietly. Cleans dishes well. Excellent dishwasher for the price.

Flimsy lower rack

The bottom rack is flimsy. It’s constantly falling off track. It does a decent job cleaning dishes. It came with our new house. I would not have chosen it due to the lower rack,

Worst Dishwasher I have ever used

This is the worst dishwasher I have ever used. This was installed by the builder. It was installed in many homes and no one is satisfied. It does not clean well, does not start many times.

Not working as expected and taking too much time for one cycle even though it is in NORMAL wash.

interior baskets

the baskets plastic showed defects after a couple of uses. The ends and joints have hairline cracks more visible by the faint rust color.

Basic model

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a basic dishwasher. Only two racks and one silverware basket. Odd placing of the spindles for holding the dishes. Dishes come out still wet and sometimes still dirty. It is not very noisy. The cycle time is normal. This model was included with our house, but definitely miss my last washer. Also, the smell. If you do not wash often, it reeks.

Nice size and I’m happy I selected this dishwasher. Works well as expected

Feels cheap, and arrived filled with water

For some crazy reason, the dishwasher arrived with a pool of water in the basin, and the water lines were filled, so when I was moving it/installing it, water was spilling out of the cardboard box. Also, the detergent free sample had exploded all over the manual, so it wa a little messy during the install. The quality of the machine feels very cheap. The touch pad on top feels like it will crack after a couple years.

Cleans Extremely Well - I dislike the rack design

After using the GE Dishwasher Model GDT535PYV6FS for some time, I have mixed feelings about its performance and design. On the positive side, the dishwasher does an excellent job cleaning dishes, leaving them spotless after every cycle. Performance is awesome!

Compared to our old one, we couldn't believe how clean our dishes got with the new washer. From cleaning to quietness, this new washer is fantastic.

It doesn't sound like anything terrible like something is broken. Just a certain point in the wash cycle that sounds like somebody is knocking lightly and slowly.
