Second as good as the first

I had a General Electric 1/3 Hp disposal for 16 years when it finally gave out. Replaced it with same size and model. Works great!

It Grinds Up the Garbage!

Came with the house

It's a garbage disposal. It seems to handle whatever I put in it without sounding like it's going to bog down on me...but then, I try to not overload it. Surprisingly quiet compared to some I've had in the past.

Sometimes makes strange noises. When looking inside, some blades are new and a couple are rusted.

GE Disposal

I have lived in a home without a disposal, so having one in my new house was a must. Unfortunately, water often backs up in the sink while using the disposal. Having to reach to the other wall to to turn on the disposal while in the middle of doing dishes it isn't ideal. It's better than nothing and certainly works but I wish it were a little more robust.

Bought to replace our old model that had the turn plate rust and broke. Installation was a breeze and it is a great disposal for the size and price.

I bought this to replace an old, non-working, too large for my needs unit. Since I compost I don't need anything too large. This fits the cabinet space nicely, is not too loud, and was easy to install after reading the directions, with only basic household tools since I was replacing and not having to start from scratch with the plumbing.

Very Reliable Disposal

I replaced an older disposal with the GE because of the reliability of GE products.

Works as expected

Bought and installed in Dec. It's Feb now with no issues.

Quiet operating disposel

Easy to install and operate. Quiet and gets the job down
