Only Lasted One Week - Waste of Money

I purchased this tree from Lowes August 30, 2025. Decorated my yard in December 2025 and only worked for one week. Could not return to Lowes due to being past 90 days of purchase. Contacted GE, they stated this tree does not have a warrenty and to purchase a new adapter. Customer service gave me the model number I needed to order. How to fix your lights

I like my tree and wanted to keep using it but the control box (with the button on it) failed after a month. The way this works is the power adapter converts AC to DC. The control box changes the polarity to change the color or flash the lights. After this fix, you can have your choice of all white lights OR all colored lights that do not flash. It’s a beautiful tree but mine is lighting weird.

The tree itself is very nice but the way mine lights up doesn’t seem right. I can never get it to stay just one color. To sections will be white and the other section will be multicolored. I’m just going to live with it. I hope it continues to work.

Stopped working

Got this tree last year and worked fine for the month and a half it was up, this year like most have said the bottom cord is messed up so the whole thing won't light up. Contacted GE and they basically said to just add string lights to it.....such a waste of money

Horrible product

I purchased this tree last year used it 2 months and put it away. Got it out this year and it doesn't light up. 179.00 plus tax for 2 months usage what a rip off.

worked 1 year

worked fine last year when purchased. dead this year. expensive for 1 month of use! stay away! I had one of this brand I have had for numerous years. same tree just older. something is wrong!

Wonderful tree, for the short time they worked.

Have been using the GE Color-changing pine garland x5 years and love them. Saw these trees and the matching wreath. Had 1 of the wreaths and 2 of these trees delivered...one for the front yard, one for the back, wreath for the front attic dormer window. The trees were very nice, however, one worked for1 night, one for 3 nights. Sadly, had to return both, but the wreath is still working x2nd Christmas!

Cheap product

Like many other purchasers, this product only lasted a few weeks. I thought the tree was quite attractive, until the lights stopped working. This is just another missed opportunity for GE to manufacture a quality product.

Sad GE Product

Don't waste your money. Bought 4 trees. 2-7ft and 2-5 ft. Had to return 3 of the 4. 2 of the 7ft didn't even last 2 weeks before they quit. Look nice but not worth the trouble, investment, & cost. Lowe's replaced and reimbursed politely. The 4th one quit just after New Year's but they refused to accept for refund. Not optimistic that the 2 we still have will work next year.

NO warranty and stopped working after 1 month

We installed this tree in December 2022 and within a month, it was no longer working properly. The colored lights were dimmed and flickering indicating an electrical issue with the product. No warranty per GE Customer support and Lowe's will not accept it as a defective return now that Christmas is passed. Terrible product. save you money and hassle.

Disappointed

This item appears to be not for outdoor use. Stopped working after 2 1/2 weeks. No what? Out 200.00 dollars

Beautiful — but they didn't even last three weeks!

I bought three 7-foot trees and three 5-foot trees and all but one are no longer working properly. They stopped working/malfunctioned on December 24, but with a house full of guests I couldn't run up to Lowe's to return. Now it's past the Lowe's return window and I'm stuck with tress that either don't light up at all or flicker/strobe. I'm just sick over it! Spent a fortune on decorations didn't even last a season! Buyer beware!!

The lady that works in that department was so nice went out of her way to help me loved the product it is an awesome Christmas tree

Quits working in a year

Beautiful tree but lasts only one season. I’ve had some outdoor decorations that have lasted years but this was did not. Do not buy!!!

Think twice before buying this product.

I feel there is an inherent problem with this product. After just 10 days, the lights on two of the trees, I had purchased eight, went out. I was forced to return those trees. I’ve written a letter to GE about the product.
