THIS IS THE WORST DISHWASHER I'VE EVER HAD!

This dishwasher is GARBAGE. Their are myriad of serious issues with this unit. First, the dial sticks and requires manual operation to advance. Second, because of the faulty dial, unattended operation is not possible unless you want this unit to run indefinitely. Third, the unit NEVER DRAINS any of the water used for a complete wash cycle. Instead, the wash water collects at the bottom of the dishwasher. The standing dirty water then offgasses a terrible smell that engulfs the entire first floor...

JUNK. Does not drain. Burning smell. Doesnt run.

This dishwasher came with my home, so I had no say in it. We have used it before and it has worked fine. It's only been about a year and a half since we've been in our home and today it just isn't working. Went to run a cycle, no luck. Pumps in water and then just sits not doing a single thing. Then comes the burning smell. We're out of our warranty window and it will probably just be cheaper to buy a new dishwasher. So now, we can't get this water out of the dishwasher, the entire bottom is ...

Disappointing and frustrating

Had this dishwasher for less than two years And stopped draining. Needs parts and way more than what bought it for. Frustrated.

Disappointing

Just like another review here, we've had this dishwasher for about 2 years and it is already broken. Repairing it will cost nearly as much as it originally cost new, so it's sad to realize it's better to replace it entirely than to fix it.

Not built to last . . .

I see that this machine is no longer being manufactured, and that's a good thing. I bought this dishwasher in July 2021 and it's already stopped working properly. The machine doesn't cycle through doesn't drain at all. I called a tech to come look at it, and they want nearly as much as I paid for it to repair. Very sad when it's more cost-effective to buy a new machine rather than fixing an "old" machine. It's painful, because the machine still looks new. So disappointed.

Failed 18 months after purchase, low quality

Bought this unit for my daughter and son-in-law and it had a component failure in 18 months. Very poor qualit unit. Finding full warranty information these items is nearly impossible. Please provide details on how to get this addressed as that short of a lifecycle should be a complete embarassment to GE

Durable sanitizer

Doesn’t wash most dirt off the dishes but it is durable and has worked as a sanitizer (after the dishes have been fully cleaned by hand) for several years with no repairs or leaks.

Clean as a Whistle

This product was easy to install and works very good. Every wash has been successful.

Runs nice and quiet! Sounds good and runs smoothly as well.

Poor quality dishwasher - DO NOT RECOMMEND

Worst possible dishwasher. I purchased from Lowe's in July 2020 and it was delivered and installed. The dishwasher started having issues about a year later. Since then, I have replaced the drain solenoid because the dishwasher would not fill. Then, it started leaking from the bottom of the dishwasher. Today, there was a burning smell coming from the bottom of the dishwasher. It's only 2 1/2 years old.

Worse appliance ecer

This unit has never worked. Multiple attempts to fix it have failed every time.

Had just over 1 year and leaking

I have had this product for just over 1 year, and it just spontaneously started leaking. I registered this product and no where does it say the warranty or options to have to repaired or replaced.

Basic dishwasher

This is a basic dish washer which I purchased on the spot when the one I had died.

Ge dishwasher is well worth the money

It works well. Cleans dishes as advertised and it filled my needs

Works but noisy

Works for washing but drying it does not do well. Plus it’s noisy and can be heard 2 rooms away

Well, maybe we should go up a model

We've had this dishwasher less thana year and a half and it's already stopped working. We should have just gotten the next model up. I guess we'll start saving now and hope the new solenoid holds up for a bit.

Dish washer-so far so good.

The dish washer is working well so far. I did have a delivery issue that took a few weeks to resolve from the first dish washer leg being bent and having to send it back. Other than that it has been working fine.

I love this old school dishwasher

I just had this installed today and only had a chance to run 1 load. It worked cleaned and dried beautifully. I am satisfied with my purchase.

The unit cleans well, seems to be a good value, not always completely dry when using heated drying setting
