Attractive

Attractive range that functions as expected without the frills I would never use. I particularly like the edge to edge grill surface and having a center burner. I haven't baked with it yet, but I'm confident it will work at least as fine as my previous GE gas range.

Get one!!

Love the 5 burners. The center burner is also a grill. Can use larger pots along with smaller it's at the same time. Getting use to it was relatively easy.

Great, but....

I love it however.... the burners in the front are too big for the pans I normally use, so end up cooking in the back. Im short so this sucks. I also have it converted to propane and I cannot turn the flame down enough to cook anywhere but on low. Even on low I have to remove the pan from the flame occasionally during cooking because its too hot. My oven arrived with a loose temperature control gauge and had to have a repair guy come out. Wasnt able to use my oven for two weeks while waitin...

Love the new range/oven

Replaced our 20+ year old GE range with this new one and love it. The gas igniters work so quickly and the heating in the oven seems even. I'm a fan of the lower profile--that the controls and interface are not behind the burners like our old one. We decided to purchase the center grate to replace the griddle because we figured the grate would get more use. Easy to install as well. Took me only a few minutes.

Design and safety issues

I've already spoken to a few people about the product. Hopefully my comments are on record. I find the design pretty lame. Seems to have been designed by a 19 year old, first-year design student with little experience understanding the logic of kitchen efficiency and safety. It appears that the designer's experience only extended to back yard barbecue bro-man cooking. The burner flames are pretty intense and flames are higher than necessary, it seems to me. It's also difficult to see blue flame...

Very nice range lots of features. The range heats up quickly.

Great look

Great style - fits right into our new kitchen. The only comment I have is that the controls are very easy to bump when accessing the cabinets nearby. Recommend future designs reduce the knob profile or provide an edge overhang to limit inadvertent knob contact
