I LOVE our new GE induction range. I have to admit, I was pretty uncertain about how I would feel about the change. The thing that bothered me the most was that my favorite skillet would no longer work well on the induction range. My husband purchased a beautiful cast iron skillet that I now love just as much. The range itself really does heat instantly. It can boil tap water in about a minute -- crazy! It is as easy to control as a gas range. The only down side of the range is on one side...

DANGEROUS CONTROLS1

I really want to love this range and I do really like it other than the controls are dangerous. I have owned this range for about a year and a half and have tried to burn the house down with it more than once. At first, we laughed at me for being an overweight oaf and turning on or adjusting burners with my belly but it stopped being funny when others started doing it and damage started being done to non-cookware items sitting on the stovetop. Very Very Nice Range

Wish WiFi wasn’t needed to access control lock

Love this range. Easy to use and clean, no issues. Love the induction. Minus one star because the lock for the controls is hidden behind the prompt to connect to Wi-Fi, so if you don’t want your device connected to Wi-Fi, you can’t lock the controls. The lock is a safety feature, it should not be blocked by a Wi-Fi connection prompt.

So far, so good

After having miserable experience with two LG induction ranges with wildly erratic ovens, I am very happy with this oven. I was able to calibrate it! The LGs ran 20+degrees low on the low end and 50-100 degrees hot on the high end--impossible to calibrate. This GE was about 15-17 degrees high across all temps. Have not yet figured out the in-oven camera. Not crazy about the "nipple" on the cooktop, an electronic feature I will never use, but I love the "bridge" burners that accommodate a griddle...

Super Technology, Induction Oven is Fantastic

I really like the induction top and the quality of the oven. The stove top is very efficient. I like the technology, too. Installation was very smooth, the guys were professional. The oven capacity is good, so far, and I like the slide shelf that came with the stove. Great option. I learned after purchase that I am eligible for an educator discount (per the GE Website) and am hoping that the store where I purchased the oven will expedite this, as it is a substantial amount of money.

Induction Is the Way to Go!

Induction Is fabulous, as responsive as gas. Keeps pan temp steady. Overcooking is a thing of the past. Four different size burners to accommodate any size pot. Super easy to keep cooktop clean. The controls are so easy to use. I love how sleek and clean the range looks with the controls on the front top edge facing up, rather than facing front. Horrible!

Do NOT buy! I glad I purchased the 3 year warranty. This stove looks amazing but breaks constantly. I've had to have it serviced 2 in less than 8 months and the stove isn't even a year old. The glass covering the controls suddenly cracked and split sending shards of glass everywhere. And now the oven is heating itself without the controls on and the only way to get the oven to stop heating up is to unplug the unit. I've had it with this thing.

From our previous induction range that was repaired six times and still did not work accordingly they changed the owners users manual to change the size of the pots and pans that will work on different burners from a 5 inch up to a 6 inch.

Slow to heat up

Overall I like the range. The back has a low, modern look. The digital interface is cool. But....it is low to heat. I have a cheap one burner induction hot plate that you plug into a wall outlet that heats up faster. And I thought the burner controls were going to be a little more refined and that the slide function would be smoother. Setting up the oven was a huge hassle, it would not find it. Stovetop appears to have failed <3 years old

Stovetop functionality has stopped working after 2.5 years. The whole slide in range has worked great up til now -- Wi-Fi connectivity has been the only bothersome item.

We really like the inductive features as well as the combination conventional oven, convection oven and air fryer all in one unit.

Huge design flaw, so close to being the new goat

Huge design flaw. Wish someone would have tried to cook on multiple burners at once to see that you can't fit them. And the induction is so tempremental, trying to find 2 exact pots or pans is a nightmare. I'm actually taking a loss and replacing this with a dual fuel model. I hope GE can do something to help me out. Maybe donate this one to a food kitchen. If that was fixed, this product would be a 10/10. Received the wrong model. Not the model with camera. Told to use it until the replacement came. The convection oven sounded like a bag of rocks in a clothes dryer, so good thing it wasn't the right one.
