Would Not RecommendThe double sided tape didn't adhere well to the window frame. Installation was therefore frustrating. In the end, when I shrank the plastic with a hair dryer everything pulled away and the whole job was undone.

Would RecommendOur home was built in 1884 and despite replacement windows it still "breathes". I'm 67 years old now and can still get up a ladder, although I do so very carefully! I've used this 3M weatherproofing for over 35 years and it makes a huge difference in not only our comfort level but in our gas bills. It takes about 8 hours for us to weatherproof 6 normal sized windows, 4 half windows, the glass panels in front of our fireplace (which we don't use as it's not efficient) and 4 panels of a bay wind...

Would RecommendBig windows are great and all, but when your windows are 2 inches larger than standard and about 25 years old... woof. I had to buy 3 of these kits to do 7 of my draftiest windows. So, the sizing stinks! That said, I have used this product for years in apartments and just didn't get around to prioritizing replacing our windows this year so I turned to it again. Would Not RecommendThe box clearly states 62x210inches. The product is barely 60 inches. I needed 62 to cover the window but was unable to because the product is not the size it says it is.

Would Not RecommendHave been purchasing this product for years. This year it just will not stick. Have contacted the company and tried suggestions on line. Have now had four boxes of this product come lose. It’s just not sticking. Even with the suggestion of applying with a blow dryer to heat up the tape.
