Solved our problem

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love everything about it except that the design of each burner on the top of the stove is so faint that I find it a little difficult to get the pan centered on it. The stove top is black and the markings on the top is a medium grey. When a pot is on top of the burner, it is hard to see the markings. That is my only complaint

Great Stovetop, Noisy Oven

Water boils before I walk away from the pot, onions need to be chopped before turning on the pan because it heats up FAST. My pans don't make much if any noise. But the oven! Even without convection on, the fan runs on and off the entire baking time creating a dishwasher-like like noise in the background. Always on or always off might work, but the unpredictable noise - you either like it...

Exactly what we needed.

We don't use teflon because we have birds, so we're almost exclusively a cast iron family. We've placed a silicone mat over the top of the stove, and we should have this stove for the next 20 years, ideally.
