If you've read my other reviews, you will see that this is the third 1 star review for the suite of 4 Frigidaire appliances we purchased for our new home. We only chose Frigidaire because they had a reasonably priced induction range which is what I wanted. Let me say the induction part does seem to work well. However, there is a gap between the glass and the metal in which paper towels are stuck after cleaning. Also, the metal edge on the top is damaged and looks very old although only 7 months ...

My Review for 30" Freestanding Induction Range with Air Fry

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this range, it is so fast, cuts cooking time so much. I have yet to try the air fryer, but am certain that will be a plus also. I baked potatoes using the convection in the oven, speeded that up a bunch also.

Little getting used to from a standard electric range

It's great when you want water to boil super-quickly, but a bit of oil in a pan also heats up much quicker than on an electric range. It's great - just getting used to it. Treated ourselves to a new set of carbon steel pans, because our previous pans didn't work (too much aluminum and not enough steel for the magnetic field). Overall, would highly recommend!

We’d been warned about induction cooktops turning on and off and being difficult to cook with. But we have not experienced this. It reaches temperature very quickly and cooks steadily. We made the move from gas both for air quality/health, and to reduce our carbon footprint. Our Fridgidaire Gallery has made us even happier...

Air fry was a tots different experience. We invested in the rack/basket combo and attempted to do wings this past Sunday. Model says DO NOT put foil on the bottom of unit. We listened. I love the induction cook top, I have been wanting one for awhile, it works great the only downside is the on/off buttons for the burners hit or miss. They always come on but sometimes you need to touch it in a few different places before it turns on, this is my only issue. The oven and air fryer work as they should. I am glad that we purchased the range.
