Works well and cools the space quickly for the price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works as expected. Installation was a little challenging for a vertical sliding window but I made it work with a minor adjustment. I was surprised how much water collects and needs to be emptied daily. Twice or sometimes more on humid days. Cannot leave it on if I don't have time to monitor and empty collection.

Just Cool it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After weeks of a July heat wave, I decided to buy a portable AC for my bedroom. To be honest, my criteria depended on the price and brand. Because Frigidaire has a favorable reputation, and the price was within my range, I chose the 8000BTU Model. After two weeks of nighttime use, I am pleased with the medium noise level which I refer to as "restful white noise," because I am definitely sleeping better with my Frigidaire. Thank you.

Great Portable AC Unit for the Kid’s Room

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought the unit for my kid’s room because her room has the lowest airflow from the central air. Good size and power for the size of her room, and it cools the room in less than 10 minutes. My only complain is that it does have a slightly louder humming noise and that the window attachment does not work well with our new Andersen window, so we had to improvise a bit.

High Quality Portable A/C Unit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased the Frigidaire model #FHPC0821AC to combat the summer heat in our upstairs master bedroom. This Frigidaire was easy to setup, including venting the supplied exhaust hose through one of the bedroom windows. Everything we needed was included in the box, and took less than 30min to complete the installation. The unit works perfectly, quickly cooling the 350sf master bedroom. Swing feature does not work and window vent kit was broken.

Out of the package, the window kit was cracked and once connected the swing feature does not work. It works ok otherwise, a bit loud for a bedroom even on low fan setting. I like that it has a smaller footprint than my previous model also a Frigidaire. The vent window kit is not easily reversible, left or right side of window,like my old one was. It cools well enough, I cool room prior to bedtime and turn it off.

Powerful AC

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my new portable AC. It works great and was easy to install. The directions were clear and direct. I using it in my bedroom and boy does it get my room cold. I had to turn it off a few times because it gets too cold. I sleep with my comforter on my bed. I am so glad I purchased. I wasn’t skeptic because I know the Frigidaire brand is a good brand. Thank you you Frigidaire you make amazing products and I will always buy your products.

Portable Air Conditioner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I LOVE IT! It has been 100 or more degrees the past several weeks with no relief in the evenings. Closing Bed room doors I now can cool the kitchen and dining/living room (total 350 sq. ft.). At night just open doors & the other 350 Sq. ft. is quite comfortable. It was eastmy to set up, it is easy to use use and quiet. It has a remote but haven't needed to use it. Did I mention I LOVE IT? What a relief!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A few days in and it’s doing its thing as expected, so that’s good. The exhaust tube is fiddly to set up, with the end pieces that you screw onto the tube popping off easily while getting the tube and window piece into place, leading to some frustration. Once that’s managed, though, it’s working fine.
