Great freezer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this freezer to replace a very large , really old chest freezer that finally quit working. I was surprised that after putting all of the food from the chest freezer into the new freezer there was plenty of room left over.

Worst appliance ever owned

Bought this freezer a year and a half ago. The green light on the bottom was always on so I figured it was working. But I was wrong opened the door one day and everything was thawed. This is the second Frigidaire I bought and I will not be buying another one.

Nice freezer

We found this to be perfect for being able to find things rather than a chest freezer where we often lost things at the bottom!

Love my new Frigidaire freezer

My new freezer is a lot better than my old one. Love that it has extra insulation to help keep my food froze if power goes off for a day or two. I can hardly hear that it's running and love that the light at the bottom let's me know it is. My old freezer frosted up so bad that I had to defrost it several times a year, where this one will not. If you are looking for a great upright freezer ,you can't go wrong by buying a Frigidaire.

Stay away from Frigidaire!

This company has went so far downhill it’s sickening! They’re customer service is atrocious and the products are crap. This freezer came packaged great, after waiting at Lowe’s for an hour but I digress, we get it home and carefully unload it still packaged. We unpackage it and it’s dented and scratched up bad. Well Frigidaire claims that’s Lowes fault, they won’t help. In fact they get hateful and condescending. I should have taken it back but considering it’s a 3 hour trip I decided against it...

great size and manual defrost in a upright which is hard to find

Great large freezer

I am looking forward to using this freezer. I gave up a frost free freezer due to constant overflow ice problems with the drain. When I found out that the only way to not have that issue was to get a manual defrost freezer I ordered this one. It is very roomy, easy to find things and tall! Love all the shelves on the door!

Good freezer

Bought this freeer for new home. Did not want to move old freezer. Sales rep was great. Delivery was on time. Freezer is roomy and similar to our old upright freezer. Price was a value.

Perfect for a Large Family

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this freezer in 2015 to replace a very old chest type freezer. When I had ordered this, I did not realize that the shelves weren't adjustable and I was originally a little bummed. Now I like that the shelves aren't adjustable. Refrigerant coils line each shelf so the shelves are super sturdy and allow for much more even freezing. Also because the refrigerant runs thru the shelves you can pack it pretty full and not worry about airflow ...

Absolutely love my new Frigidaire upright freezer!

Not my first Frigidaire

Was happy with my previous experience with the brand so that is why I stayed with them. This unit is similar to my last one but has the addition of an interior light which is nice. This model requires manual defrost, but in my experience, long term storage food quality is better than the frost free models. Ordered online, received a month later, with a dent. Seems like most products I buy from Lowe’s come that way. It’s a good size though.

Poor features

I bought this two months ago, and it is the worst buyer I had have done.

Excellent Freezer!

Excellent Freezer! I love the coils in every shelf. It seems to freeze food after. Also the shelves are sturdier than the freezer I have with standard shelves.

Frigidaire upright freezer

Very spacious, like the interior light, door has a good seal.

Rare manual defrost

Painless ordering and pickup. Freezer is one of the few manual defrost models. Manual defrost is much better for storage quality of food. And in a dry climate it isn’t a frequent issue to defrost.
